Rainbow ? It might be overdubbed. But I did not expect the whole thing to be re-recorded. I just thought Now I'm here... great version of MTRR though.
I hope the original soundboard is somewhere in the archives and gets a proper release someday. Although I am pretty sure the backing track is orginal anyway. Just the vocals are overdubbed.
Nothing special by the way, pretty common in theses days. Watch Live at Pompeji by Pink Floyd for example.

Rainbow 31.03.1974 ISN'T overdubbed, which MTRR is from. Rainbow 20.11.1974 IS overdubbed.

Okay, I edited my last post, as I can not be totally sure. But even if publicly only the november show is overdubbed, I still wonder about the sound of his voice and in particular the harmonies - most of them sound too perfect (even for Queen) and some of them even sound like typical Freddie-harmonies. I also seem to remember a few passages not synched on the MTRR-Video. Sorry if I was wrong, but the vocals still sound too studio-like to me.
