Heeey... that's only four hours away from me.
And I was already planning to mecca to Freddie's pants, a pair of which are in Cleveland.
Let's see... dad would shoot/disown me...! Mom would help me make a costume to profess my all-time dorkishness. My brother would try to wear my platform shoes (which are really girls', not men's platforms at all. 6 inch heels... yeah...).
Freud would know - it's really Cleavageland, to us dyslexic people at least.
What on Earth do you do there? I've never been to a convention of anything. Is it just an obscene outpouring of obsessiveness (which could be fun)?

Not only that,Tribute Band Almost Queen will be playing around that same month as well.

I'm going ... been to every one (starting in 2001). It will be nice to meet Richard Orchard, the legendary host of Queenzone. If I remember, I will proudly wear my lime green Queenzone T-shirt on the first night of the convention.
In any case, Breakthru has always been a great weekend.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is about two blocks away from the Crowne Plaza City Centre in Cleveland, the hotel where Breakthru 2006 will be held.
The only thing I enjoyed from the convention when I went was the rare videos and Houston '77 show. Now that I got them through bittorrent, there is little worth going for, other than mingling with other Queen fans and staring at Jackie's ass. That girl is freaking FINE! And that English accent of hers makes me purr!

I'm sad to say that this will more than likely be ANOTHER year I don't go to the convention.
I spent the money I was saving on tickets to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers with Trey Anistasio. :p
