I'm heading to Scotland for the first time in 2007....I'd love to live there! That accent is the hottest thing ever!! Much better than that Southern Redneck crap we have here in the states.

Make sure you steer clear of St Boswells, it is the crappest place on the planet.
Edinburgh's lovely though, if you don't mind a bit of rain.
Going to Scotland? Nice ;)
Visit the good old West, the scenery is rather lovely. Although you say you like the accents now but wait till you actually arrive here, you wont understand a damn word we say!
Ache dats pur nice by eh way!
Thanks for the advice, guys.
Actually an old roomie of mine did the same tuition exchange program I'm doing, and she's warned me that for the first week I won't understand anything. But it can't be worse than the week I spent with a French family who spoke no English at all!!
And I'll be in Glasgow at University of Strathclyde, but I hope to see the whole country. (The whole of Scotland is the same size as my state)
