Has anyone seen this movie? I've been hunting for it for a long time, cause when it was at the cinema I couldn't go, and I decided to wait for the DVD.
Well, anyway, I got an un-translated version (no subtitles either), so it was very hard for me to understand what they were saying (I got to guess a lot - if u know the situation there - at least a bit - I think it's not hard to figure out what's going on in the movie). I know it impressed me very much and I ended up with tears in my eyes for the poor girl. I watched Hotel Rwanda after that (impressive as well, but still didn't beat what Osama touched).
If you saw it, what do you think? If you didn't, go and see it, cause it's worth it!! (of course I don't think it's for people with simple minds who are not used to other stuff than hollywood typical stories n stuff).

I saw "Osama." While not the feel good film of the year, it was a look at the bleak life of an innocent child in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban. "Osama" took the Golden Globe award for best foreign film in 2003 and is thought provoking and haunting.
