arctic monkeys are so terrible
they say they are the next big brittish band
to break america
the americans will just laugh a these annoying spotty teenagers
they will be an emmbarassment
does anyone agree
I've not posted on here for ages. Reasons vary from can't be arsed and I've just come back from Portugal. I'm planning to go the States for a month in June and that takes a lot of planning.
BUT I could not let this pass. The Arctic Monkeys are a breath of fresh air. So different from any other band I've heard.
Listen to When the Sun goes down and you'll agree. Fucker.
Yes, they are the next big thing...
Yes, they are great, but as a critic AND as a music lover I realy don't understand what the fuss is all about.
Again, they are great, but the ONLY original, new and fresh thing about them is their age!
We've all heard the music plenty of times before, and their album has nothing THAT special to live up to the hype that the music industry and media have built around them.
In the still ungoing new wave of hyped brittisch poprock bands they certainly are one of the least original ones.
They will not surpass the ones from last year (Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiers)
and also this year their are much better and more original ones (Infadels, Hard-fi)
yup just type in artic monkeys on google and it turns up,im on their forum.
Artic monkeys kick ass, absolutely brilliant with great material, they are standards for the music industry today
The lead singer is out of tune, can't even hit a note well.... they are like most indie bands, depressing music, really. Especially with the kind of voice he has.

YES, depressing indie music is taking over!
It's a shame that these sort of bands will become the sound of this decade, future generations will think that we were the most uninteresting and emotionless people ever.
drab and dull indie is taking over british rock
99.9% sounds the same it is depressing and boring
there are not many heavy guitar bands coming through nowadays
