Hi and welcome!!!
i'm not sure about the lyrics..my dad's from egypt and i asked him what he understood and he said they're just repeating 'Mustapha, Ibrahim' ..lol. I don't think it's really in arabic...
:)
well, i know. i wrote "a small part arabic". ...means: Salaam Aleikum, Aleikum Salaam, Allah, Allah-i (i think something like gosh or blimey)and the names mustapha and ibrahim. these few words should be arabic (i hope so). the other words i don't understand (exept "will pray for you". *ggg*
Mustapha Ibrahim was written by Freddie about the person who gave him AIDS, the disease he sings about in Bohemian Rhapsody. In fact the lyrics to Bo Rhap were written by Freddie from the perspective of Mustapha Ibrahim. Have a listen. The song "Mustapha Ibrahim" contains nothing more than pure unadulterated expletives aimed towards Mustapha Ibrahim, which is the reason why the song is sung in a different language so to avoid the censors.
And just incase you're wondering, I am a "real queen-fan". I have illegally downloaded every single Queen/solo album, single, lyric, stolen every Queen t-shirt in the world ever, have thousands of Freddie Russian nesting dolls, have never seen them live and I hope that Paul Rodgers eventually becomes the official replacement for Freddie with the addition of Moses and Madeira or whatever his name is to create a new-look official Queen line up.
Ah well, that was fun, in fact it was a load of bollocks. Remember, Google is your friend: link

(Leaving this thread before the tomatoes get thrown!!!)
You are right about the "some English and some Arabic words", it's the rest that made people wonder.
For the Arabic parts look here link
The author thinks that the rest of the lyrics might be Persian or Parsi but in the mean time we know that this is not true. In fact, it's just made up and no language at all. It's just Freddie having a laugh.
ok! q-_-p this is for you, you have very problems with time and space brother, when freddie wrote bohemian and Mustapha the Aids not exist, don´t say stupid things you are a Liar you are not a queen fan .and this is for everyone, until the last months many people like this wrote intencional hurts words, WHAT HAPPENED!!!! this is serious site , ok the best thing is ignore that people but i can´t do it because i hate when the people made jokes with the tragedy of others ,in this case with Aids, and freddie.
