Now I know he did the duet concert with that opera singer and that GP album, but what else did he do in 87 and 88?
Recently,I saw some photos here somewhere I think(?)of him wearing a brown leather jacket, and singing into a mic with some guy and maybe some other things, but I was wondering what other little known music performances did he do if any before the Miracle?

Let's see...
In '87-'88, he:
- recorded Barcelona
- recorded The Great Pretender (single, not album)
- did the Time musical
- began to work on The Miracle (late '88 i believe, because in The Miracle interviews on GVH2, John says they started working on it in 1988)
that's all i got
You know, I'm not sure that it would've been 'late-88' that they started Miracle, because I'm pretty sure they said it took 'em about a year to do, and they were pretty much done by early '89. Mebbe I'm wrong, who cares!
Other than that, sounds about right.
The Time musical recordings were mad in 1985-86, only the live performance was from 1987-88.
It's fairly likely that TGP was recorded in late 86, given that it was released in Feb 87.
in 1987, he promoted TGP (briefly), had some time off, bought some art, recorded Barcelona, promoted Barcelona (a little), and relaxed.
in 1988, he recorded The Miracle with Queen, as and when his health permitted, and appeared on stage in April at a charity performance of Time.
I think that's about it - anybody else add anything definitive?

An evil life of non stop violent sex, rape, murder, violence, bank robberies, and drug addictions!
I'm surprised a swarm of angry mobs haven't pushed you out of the Earths atmosphere in a rocket travelling directly to the sun!
Okay, after looking over the same photos i found, you were right,he was in the TIME musical wearing that same leather jacket.
(There any live recordings of that performance anywhere out there?)
Thanks for the insight, that's all I wanted to know.
Queen lives on!

There's a nice clean recording of one song, and some dodgy recordings of two others.
Unfortunately, the clean one "It's In Every One Of Us" has this *idiot* singing over the top of Freddie, I don't know who he is, Cliff Richard or something.
Though "In My Defence" and "Born to Rock and Roll" sound extremely dodgy (bad recordings) you can *hear* that Freddie is in fighting form, I tell you! I really wish Queen had done a one-off TV show like Elvis' 68 Comeback Special. They would've rocked.

I wish they would hurry!

LOL! A very effective way to get rid of this...problem ;)

That would have been marvellous- 3 nights at Wembley or something. He could have defintely done it in 1988. They could have gone back and done March of The Black Queen and Ogre battle et al, perhaps even Don't Stop me Now. I Want it All would have sounded great too.
