I know I will get a lot of crap for simply asking a song meaning question, but I will anyway.
I like the sound of Sweet Lady, but the lyrics make no sense to me. Do any of you have an idea of what this song is about? Besides the obvious answer of "it's about a sweet lady".
Cheers!

I'm also interested in the cheese part myself. It's a shame they didn't dedicate a part about various types of cheeses... if they did then we'd take in the lingering smell of a number one hit... and the lingering smell of....cheese :S
Treat them mean to keep them keen...
I love that line... you call me sweet like i'm some kind of cheese. It's the most random line and i use it all the time. ha ha ha

First of all, one of the best Queen documentaries I've ever seen, and goes in depth with every song on the album.
Brian does talk about the lyrical inspiration that eventually became "Sweet Lady". link
