Has anyone heard any of this groups music?
I bought a CD of theirs today. It's the first time i've ever heard them. I think their good. Very strange. Some reminds me of bowie.
There a northern Irish Band and there really big over here. The lead singer Neil Hammond (i think thats how you spell it) Is now solo the last time i heard. They wrote alot of the Music that was in the Programme/comedy "Father Ted" including the Theme tune and the Famous "my lovely horse" I love that epsiode...

I only know the book of that name by Dante Alighieri. I'm pretty sure it's better than the band.
I love the Divine Comedy, although I only have two of their albums - 'casanova' and 'Fin de Siecle' - both are fantastic albums. They're also very good live, or at least they were when I saw them 7 years ago at my Uni ball.

Are they still writing music now?
Do they play "As Time Goes By"?
Heh, I'm with TQ. Until now I had only heard of the book - which would be hard to top.

I LOVE Fin du Ciecle!
Very catchy, very humorous, but nevertheless very intelligent compositions.
Yes, they still make music and release a cd every 2 or 3 years.
Oh and since you mention Bowie: yes they like eachother ;-)
Divine Comedy did a cover of Life On Mars? once! :-)

sings "i would like to live in sweden...."
"well there's nothing wrong with a woman having two men. Every woman should have at least two men! If you don't, there is something wrong. I mean, guys do it all the time. Guys have a woman on this side of town, the other side of town, they have a woman in another city... Why shouldn't we?! I mean... it's the nineties!"
