Hello everyone on these forums...
I found this web-site when looking desperately for pictures of Freddie Mercury to use as reference in a project I'm working on. I don't know if it's the same people who contributed to that data-base who will read this, but I just have to say thank you! There were so many pictures I had been trying to find (I couldn't find a picture of him in his prawn suit anywhere... it was bad...).
So... I was thinking, since I saw there were message-boards here, and I'm wildly guessing that people here are Queen fans... dot, dot, dot...
I'm working on a sort of digital art project that is making a computerised paper-doll of, well, Freddie Mercury. It runs on a Japanese (well, orignially) program - KiSS. Probably, no one's heard of it.
Well, I've been asking people on the forum dedicated to the hobby about the project... but... I don't think they would be nearly as picky/imformed as Queen/Freddie fans. After all, if you don't know who it is, you can't know if I've gotten it right. Myself, I keep finding flaws and problems and I don't know if he looks enough like him.
So, if anyone here were interested in taking a look at what I've done (they're just regular image files, so you don't have to do KiSS or anything). link link
That's all I've got at the moment - I've got about 31 outfits "done", but I don't have them with me... Also, I'm being shooed off the computer.
Also, I was wondering if anyone would tell me if it was really bad art or not. And if it even looks like him... I drew it on MSPaint... guess my hobby's kinda... meh.
So, if anyone here is able to or willing to help, I would really appreciate that - because I can't really get any help in my "real life" since there's not an abundance of rabid Queen fans at my High School - the girl next to me at the assembly thought some other group originally sang "We are the Champions".
Sorry I wrote so much...

OMG they look really great!! Cute :)
I wish we could actually use pictures in our siggys on here instead of just words, I would love to use some of your pictures lol!
In the second set of pics, I like the huge bulge in the crotch of the white tights - very true to life. You might consider a champagne flute in his hand instead of a rose in the 70's pics, and the tell-tale mic stand would hammer it home for non-Queen fans. Very good effort though, I look forward to seeing more.
