Flac to mp3,why? people doin this kind of thing is the reason we have so much mp3 circulating on the trading circuit. but a good program to convert Flac to WAV is Flac frontend you can get it free here link please please keep lossless music lossless |
drewcareyshow90 28.03.2006 17:35 |
Well smartass most MP3 players I know dont play FLAC files. I like to take all of my music with me. I did search Google, most programs aren't FREE which is what I asked. Plus the quality isn't noticably different from lossless to lossy in the case of bootlegs. |
drewcareyshow90 28.03.2006 17:48 |
Oh, by the way, 928's stupidity and rudeness has made me decide to not upload some video torrents from the current US Q+PR concerts here at queenzone.com. You can thank him for that. |

Until they all learn how not to fuck em up......you've probably done them all a favour m8. & as we learned in your last reply, you dont know what you are saying so you are probably talking bollox anyway. You get it how it is with me m8 (2 horsey clicks) ;) |

You aren't even worth anyone’s time. Learn HTML a little better if you’re trying to insult someone (or better yet, learn a REAL code). Also avoid the unnecessary "HAHALOLOLOLOLOL" to sound like less of an illiterate asswipe. I'm done with this forum now. |
928 28.03.2006 18:14 |
Bet youre not. youre a lossy ass. Thourght you would try it on because of the shit ive been giving to lossy people. Now look at ya.....whimpy lossy prick Piss Off lame head Get your squirt back to Pissy town where the lossy people come from. We're gonna make a name now. Show where us fans stand |

928, Lighten up a bit. The guy has a legit reason for converting to mp3.(Until Ipod puts out a flac player) As long as he doesn't trade the mp3s and maintains lossless integrity, what's the problem? You jumping down this guys throat and insulting him doesn't help. It's just rude. drewcareyshow90, The degradation of recordings is a big issue among some(most?) bootleg collecters. If you are going to trade you are going to have to ensure there is no degradation by converting flac to mp3. Since you want to convert some files, for use on your MP3 player, keep those on your MP3 player. |
A Word In Your Ear 28.03.2006 19:19 |
Yeah 928, lighten up a bit, the guy asked a reasonable question. Yes we all know flac is a lot better than Mp3, but, what are we going to do when a lot better format than Flac comes out, Give everyone a shit time who posts in Flac? What if someone posts "Face It Alone" in Mp3, are all you Flac guys, not going to download it because it's lossy? I don't think so. So why do you all give people who post in Mp3 a hard time. Mp3 is better than NOTHING at all, I would say. Regarding the concert recordings, to be honest, I would say 80% of them are substandard anyway, more so the early recordings (you know, recorded on shitty equipment of the time, in Mono, some fan talking in the background ect.) but we all love them, all the same, don't we? well I do!!! But the guy wanted it for his Mp3 player, what's wrong with that? Now the Guy, said he had some QUEEN + Paul Rodgers Videos that he was going to upload. Maybe, Maybe not, but now we will never know, will we? Cheers for that 928. So all you Queen fans out there, please don't be put off by some of the people on here. please do upload in Lossless Flac(the better) or Lossy Mp3. SOMETHING IS BETTER (whatever format) THAN NOTHING AT ALL!!!!!!! |

For answering your question, do this: Flacfrontend>wav>Nero ( if you have, or other burning software like dBpowerAMP )>mp3 |

TSK TSK it's a shame that people still have to put other people down. The person asks a legitimate question and gets reamed. Okay now everyone in Queenzone is impressed with the intelligence of 928. Now life can go on. Feel secure now? UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE. Instead of posting insults all the time, try posting music. I haven't seen anything from you here except for HOW TO posts. By the way Drew, I convert FLAC to MP3 all the time to keep space on my IAUDIO player even though it plays FLAC and WAV too. Unfortunately I don't know of any free downloads. I use Nero Encode Audio Files. |

To convert flav in another format use the foobar2000-player. it's a very good freeware-player who supports many formats & is able to convert them: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA. link |

I think there are more replies because people feel bad about the rude answer the topic starter got from you, 928, and they want to make up for this. |

While I agree with 928 that music should not be converted to lossy format (because there is always a difference and the more you convert it the worse it gets) I think that the better way to educate people is to explain the problem (most of the persons don't understand the lossy/lossless problem), not insulting them. |

I have 139 songs on my portable player,of which 85% is FLAC and WAV and the rest is MP3 WMA. almost 25% of my 20 GIGs is used because of FLAC and WAV so I can see why people would want to convert to MP3 at a high bitrate. But for sharing here in QZ, I would love to see all FLAC like Dime. |

As i had just literally gone barmy at the mp3 upload of the Buffalo gig when the txt in the Flac Buffalo download specifically said not to ...AND make a post on How To Burn Lossless Flac To Disc.......i thought it was piss-take at me. IF i was wrong.....sorry. But you should still make the Thread on burning Lossless woth Nero a sticky so that people who have never seen a Flac or Shn will know what to do with them! For personal use of mp3......use Db Poweramp with the flac plugin. Google it |
