Okay, I hate to keep wining and having problems, but I can't burn these shows that are over 700 mbs. (example: Knebworth 1986)
I don't have a DVD-r burner, and to be honest, I doubt I ever will.
Is there any way I can make the file smaller?
or is there anything else I can do other than asking someone on here every other day to burn a show for me?
I can't remember who posted the thread, but it's the one where there's eleven files to download. I did download all of them from rapidshare. They're 95 mb each...
It is mpeg and vcd or svcd...whichever it is.
I don't understand why I can't seem to do this. I've burned a couple other things: "Hammersmith 1975 and an audio...Birmingham 1984 with no trouble.
I'll have to order some more cdrs from Amazon...maybe after I get them I'll either try again or try something else.
Thank you for trying to help me out Alex. I appreciate it :)
Update:
I finally got my CD-rs today and tried burning Knebworth. It almost worked, but a dialog box came up saying it had failed at 24x.
24x is the highest speed I have, so I guess I can't copy this show...for whatever reason.
It said something about the file being over 6000 bites and 24x is only 3 thousand something bites.
I think I need to buy a new computer...this one sucks!
Oh my God! I finally got it!
I recorded at 4x and it was successful.
I guess maybe I should always record at 4x...just to be sure it doesn't have anymore "fail dialog boxes."
Thanks again Alex :)
