Oh my god what is this.
I don't know why they did not play this perfect masterpiece. Are they afraid to fail?
Rodgers is no Freddie Mercury but I'm sure they can play this song.
Also missing songs from the early days like Keep yourself alive and killer queen
and from the eighties: princes of the universe and breakthru.
I must tell you.
I was very satisfied with I was born to love you.
i think they are just playing the big hits, and i think thats a mistake i think they should visit forum like this and QOL and stuff to see what the crowd Really wants!
in this case yea i wish they would play innuendo
how do you know that?
like maybe most of the crowd is mde of people like us and people who dont join boards like this but are just big or regular fans who know some of them maybe?
idk i think what you said was more accurate, but it rreally sucks for the fans like us who sit through the same setlist! maybe if they played some songs they didnt know then the people who dont know much will learn something and go buy their CD so they win twice
If they play songs people don't know many people will go and get a beer or visit the bathroom.
Yes the setlist is virtually the same everynight, but remember that for most people in the audience they are seeing the show for the first time. Not many people will be sitting through the same setlist night after night.
lol, i'm sure americans do know songs after 1986 too :D and song Innuendo must be on the setlist, i think they just didn't add it because paul can't perform it... well after FM tribute i can understand brian and roger why they are a bit scared to play it again :D
Brian May
Roger Taylor
Paul Rodgers
Spike Edney
Jamie Moses
Danny Miranda
All perfectly capable of pulling off Innuendo to a high standard. Maybe not right for the american tour, but hey, i think they will do it sooner or later.
Would sound great with RT on lead too!
i miss innuendo

They can't play evey song that people want.
They are already playing a show that goes over 2 hours.
They also have to incorporate lighting cues etc for every song.
Also to be honest I don't think they would do Innuendo even if Freddie was still alive and touring.
... Brian once said he can't possibly play the Spanish guitar section that Steve Howe played on record, so I guess they would need a somewhat different arrangement, unless Jamie can make it in his place...
FWIW
but they could just try it and headlong on rehersial and then tape it and sell it like they sold european songs :D ok ok still they have to play it maybe just once but they have to !

There's a very good reason they picked this set list.
Hey, Queen fan is a Queen fan. If they don't recognize Innuendo or Headlong then they should shoot themselves
"Headlong" got some minor airplay over here on the rock stations. There's no way casual fans would know Innuendo though, and it's not the most upbeat song in the world...it would totally kill the show IMHO (even though I really like that song)....

I don't like reading comments like this - fairly condescending, in a way, whether intentionally or not. But no offense taken.
I think the Innuendo CD actually is well known & loved by us American Queen fans, and all you have to do is check a used CD store to realize that people mostly hold onto it (as with most Queen CDs). On the contrary, Made In Heaven & The Miracle don't seem to be as well-liked, but I wish they hadn't dropped "I Want It All" from the setlist, nonetheless. That is one of the ROTC DVD highlights for me.
I really think that this song will be played but not until the next tour for a new studio l.p. In the meantime they need to tour the rest of the world more for "Return Of The Champions" AND return to the U.S. for many more dates as there are many more places they have yet to go yet and they can still raise the interest in Queen more here in the U.S. than they already have. They have no excuses! They just did a successful tour here in the U.S. of A.!!!
