You are right. The 1991 12 Stitch Remix of Fist Through a Window is boring House music. The "oh yeah" repeated throughout the remix is crnge-making.
I've got the 1988 LP version. The blue one, on the right of the picture : link
Some great songs and catchy bass riffs... For me, the best is "Bass-matic" It gives a great view of what would become later "My Baby Does Me". Total underrated player...
John Rules !!

Gah, was that official? I heard that for the first time a few years ago, and I could've sworn it was a terrible fan mix. Don't get me wrong, 'Fist Through A Window' was a great song, but an eleven minute remix? No thanks.
Thanks for uploading the pic, [StArMaN]. Hadn't seen the original '88 cover before.
It's far better IMHO to that horrible '91 re-issue that I have. Although the bonus tracks, "Leave Me Alone" and the awsome slap bass solo, "Slap My Bass Up", make it a worthwhile purchace.
I have a track called "I don't want to tour again".
I discovered it recently on some obscure internet-site. It claims it is a new track.
Is that from this album too or is this really a new track?
In the last case it could be from a new upcoming album???

A little joke is nice, but this is newby-bullying.
Caspar, i think you'll find it's called "newb-bashing"
and as it's queenzone's national sport...allow us to excel....
Usually, a sport requires some kind of talent. A lack of morality is all that "newb-bashing" takes. And you people wonder why we have so many dreadfully annoying n00bs?
My favourite track by afr is "Im Bold (So What).
Although "(He Was) A Postman" was also really, REALLY GOOD! The triangle solo- OMG!!!
Thomas Q.- out of everybody, you saying anything about bashing being a bad thing is just hilarious...
