Dear all, The result of the "poll" was that video nr one was voted the most (15 votes) , a close second was video nr 5 (10 votes) Details: This is video snippet from the beautiful garden Freddie had created within Garden Lodge. It shows the Japanes fishpond with (as you all know) priceless Koi fish ...This is probably filmed in the beginning of the 90's In my opinion it is not the most exciting video to see, but it does show how much time and effort went into creating this little piece of Japan at his London home Size: 7 MB Duration: 25 seconds Format: mpg I tried to convert it to another format (WMV) but I didnt succeed (Barry, do I need to use the Mpeg Video Wizard program? If yes, I don't have the serial code for it). Here is the link link Stefan PS DONT use Winamp to view the file, use Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. For some reason the file is getting stuck in Winamp! PS Be sure you have all the right video codecs installed. If the file doesnt play go to: link PS3 I gues it's , as I said before, a bit boring, but well ... Enjoy! |

"PS3 I gues it's , as I said before, a bit boring, but well ... Enjoy!" 25 seconds doesn't really build up the excitement now does it? |

I didn't say he recreated it, but there are alot of other gardens in the world that can be video taped. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Really how golable are you guys? |

Quote: " You have requested the file Garden_Lodge_Garden.mpg (8570 KB). This file has been downloaded 239 times already." According to Rapidshare ...(and I am not counting the 40 downloads from the files Barry uploaded!) Well 27 responses and 239 downloads ... it's still amazing ... I dont alway need the personal "thank you's" from everybody,it would be appriciated though, but 1 out of 10 people (!) takes the effort in putting back a message in this thread ...? Well it's ok with me now ... Have a nice weekend all! I am going to have a beer! haha, no hard feelings but I know what to do the next time Stefan |
beautifulsoup 24.03.2006 09:26 |
I haven't downloaded this one... but just in defense of a very few, I'm sure ... If someone on dial-up gets a broken connection, it still gets counted as a download on RapidShare. Trust me on this. I know. :) I don't think it happened 200 times, but still. Thanks for everything you've shared with us. :) |

Thanks a lot Stefan, and don't punish everyone for a few not saying thanks:(, I want to see more of those snippets, Well, thanks again, it's so lovely:))) And thanks to Barry too, for converting the files and puting them in megaupload!:)) |

Stefan thanks so much for sharing that. What a lovely and serene place. Glad Freddie was able to create and enjoy it. Barry, thanks for the conversions. |

Thanks again for sharing this (and all the other snippets!). Although only a few seconds long it captures the spirit of the garden. Very much appreciated. |

TRS: Thank you so much! I absolutely love the scenery, and the fish! (Which is not surprising, since I'm a known admirer and lover of Japanese culture and things) Amazing that Freddie would have spent so much on those fish alone, I kid you not! |

TRS-Romania Again, thank you! Domo arigatou! I've been away for sometime so don't know what the choices were (though I'm sure if I had the time I could find out) but I am very very very grateful for the video offered. It is short but pleasing to watch. THANK YOU and I hope you may bless us with more little tidbits in the future. (And if you decide to keep them all to yourself, then good for you!) |
