I can't get enough of that song. Literally. My friends all like it as well and request me to play it often, and usually the 'Body Language, ha! ha!' gets caught in their heads and they say it all day long. The only time they don't like me playing it is when we are going to the McDonald's drivethru and gigantic woman ask what we want and hand us our food... Anyway, Does anyone else like this song? People under-estimate it so much. One guy said in 'Freddie's Loves' I think it was, that this song killed off America. Well, it's on my local radio station often and it was #11 on the charts... that is great. That's especailly great since the video was rarely seen since it was banned. |

Have you noticed how John actually rules the video? I think it's some sort of hidden message. I love the song. |

I actually quite like it in an odd way, I have to be in the right sort of mood to listen to it but I really like it, in fact I like the whole of Hot Space. (With the exception of 'Dancer' and 'Cool Cat') |

I never saw the video until recently at youtube.com. Sexy.but weird. As for the song BL it sure went some places during the 80's. One time,on a 80's documentary about striptease artists. There was a scene with a stripper dancing to a certain music--and it was Body language and it fit the scene perfectly! |

So many people hate this song and I don't know why. I happen to love it. LOVE it. Up to and including Freddie's moans. Mmmm, yeah. I like this song. ;-) |

All you need is for the song/video to be banned and the single shoots right up the charts. |

I'd definatly say I like it. The first time I say the video it was kind of like watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time- intriguingand weird at the same time. And John is pretty cool in the video. mary |

Not a big fan of it - or Hot Space, for that matter - but it can be enjoyable if you're in the mood for it. A great "Turn-off-the-lights-and-have-sex" song. |

That video is hilarious and its soooo dark, and they way they snap their fingers is hilarious too...I dont get the side profile thing at the end...that was too funny to me, lol!! Are they like in a locker room/subway or something...? And its funny how Freddie singing: Oh, you got a cute ass...that just too funny!!! The song is pretty good too, just not what I'm used to hearing from Queen. I can tell by the look on Bri, and Rog's face, that they really dont want to be there, lol... QUESTION: DO YOU GUYS THINK THEY CAME OUT WITH THAT ALBUM, HOT SPACES, BECAUSE OR ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST BEING A HIT, OR BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE OF MUSIC CHANGING ALSO? |

I think AOBTD maybe wrongfully gave them the sense that they could make a successful "funky" album. Unfortunatly the result was a controversial one. Still good music IMO. |

Controversial in the sense that some Queen fans love it, some hate it. It's always been stated that they made Hot Space disco-oriented because of the success of AOBTD. Additionally, Deacon and Mercury wanted to shift the band in a more funk oriented direction, while May and Taylor wanted to move in a harder rock direction (Roger himself said as much in an interview). It definitely wasn't the pressure of the times. Keep in mind, disco had mostly died out by 82...I think that John and Freddie had decided that they could make a good disco album, and did it despite what anyone else might have recommended. |

But seriously-everything went POP in the 80's lol!! |
