Ok folks.. I need help here, when you get to the show, I want you to look at the people around you and have them pass it around before the show starts that right after Crazy little thing, to start chanting 39.. and then start singing it.. its my hope to at least get enough people doing it to show Brian that we want to hear this song and perhaps he will do an improv of it.. so COME ON.. lets do it.. I will start at the back of the palace..
I was yelling for it last night, but I don't think there was any way in hell he heard me.
Maybe we should make signs.. If he sees enough of them... I really would love to hear it again..:-S
thats the point, if we talk to as many of the people next to us and get them to tell the people next to them there is no reason that ALL the queen fans cant yell for 39 and BE HEARD.. thats why I am suggesting that we start this bad boy before the show even starts, heck, when you are getting in, going to the vendor or anywhere, just ask the people around you to chant for 39.. sure we might not get it, but at least we will have tried.. but it will take an effort.. just one person alone will not do it..
I think it was pulled because Brian is a "moody turd" and did not like that people were not singing it. If thats the case he my as well drop LOML as hardly anybody sings that either ;-)
If they play Body Language I will leave :-)
I made a replica of the dreadful "'39...Please" banner from the Live At The Bowl DVD and took it to the Hollywood show last October but we were so far away I didn't bother holding it up.
I'd try again at the upcoming Anaheim show but they barely let me in with it last time...they only let me take it in after the rest of the people in the line starting booing at the security guard :)
i like your initiative Mike. i will certainly do that, and talk about your idea on QOL (in fact, i've al;ready suggested we should do that).
perhaps we should ask for Long Away instead? (i would like that even better)...
We are going to be somewhere near the end of the catwalk in Detroit. So, I'm up for screamin', hollerin', holding up signs..whatevah.. I just gotta figure what I'm gonna make a sign out of. Hmm...hotel sationary....toilet paper?? *lol* ;-)
Well, I am going to be in the back 40 so I will work on the crowd back there.. lol who knows yet.. my friend has been putting off getting the tix.. we might not get any.. Ahh who am I kidding it wont sell out.. LOL its Detroit.. LOL
but that would be the ONLY thing keeping me from being there.. no sense in my bringing a camera, I wouldnt get any good shots anyway
just strated a poll on QOL asking people if we should ask for '39 or Long Away... whatever the majority says, i will follow.
and i have a good feeling we will be loud enough to get one of these 2 songs played in Detroit!
Just to the Brixton thing and start singing the bloody thing. Probably the best moment is when he is on his way to the stool (but not there yet). It takes few people to start singing the song, others would probably join! Not when he already sits, cause he can simply start doing love Of My Life and quiet you down. Do it before he's there and... see what happens :)
I wonder if he can play it spur of the moment when he's already on the catwalk...are the lighting guys, etc. smart enough to go along with it?
I'm going to be by the catwalk in Anaheim. I wonder if there are some kind of fold-up numbers (3 and 9) that can be expanded after I'm in the arena to hold up...would they have something like that a place that makes birthday cakes? They seem to have big numbers at those places for banners for people's ages and things....
