If you had to put together a Queen album, which best showed off Queen's music, lyrics, diversity, flare and majesty, then what would you put on that album? The ultimate Queen album so to speak. An album you would put together to introduce new people to best showpiece their talents!
Now it would be a studio album, so probably no more than 14 tracks but I am going to cheat and do 18 tracks as that is the number of tracks that was on the 'Flash Gordon' album. Yes I know it was a soundtrack but I found it too hard for just 14 tracks.
Anyway, I really look forward to what you all will put but as for myself, my album and the song order would be :-
- 1) Innuendo
- 2) Death On Two Legs
- 3) Great King Rat
- 4) My Fairy King
- 5) The Prophet's Song
- 6) Love Of My Life
- 7) The Millionaire's Waltz
- 8) Killer Queen
- 9) Somebody To Love
- 10) It's Late
- 11) You Take My Breath Away
- 12) These Are The Day's Of Our Lives
- 13) The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke
- 14) Nevermore
- 15) March Of The Black Queen
- 16) Bohemian Rhapsody
- 17) Was It All Worth It
- 18) The Show Must Go On
Now this may change from day to day, as so many songs have been left off but I have tried to vary the tracks and show off Queen's music. Let us see what you can do! :-)
I completely disagree with you but that is fine, because that is the beauty of Queen's music, what do you leave out and what to put on the "Ultimate Album"?
You are entitled to your opinion and I respect your opinion but come on everybody, what does anybody else think?
I really thought there would be loads of replies to this topic and I was really genuinely looking forward to seeing everyone's choices.
I don't suppose anybody wants to reply now, even if it is just out of pity? ;-)
