Here it is guys, as talked about in this thread : link , here we have Fat Bottomed Girls, Take Love, and Dragon Attack. Taken from my master 1080i Hi-Definition tapes, this has been down converted to standard def for DVD burning. Hi-Definition and/or Blu-Ray DVD recording capabilities are not yet available. The standard def video quality in this torrent is still of a higher picture quality though than any other consumer standard def video camera, because the original source Hi-Def quality is so good. The audio is uncompressed LPCM stereo, and is also excellent due to the camera's manual audio recording levels. This 15 minutes of footage is 967 MB in size. It is NTSC region 1. Basically, this video represents a sizeable step up in overall quality from what you're used to seeing from an audience shot video. Enjoy! (Please do not use this video for monetary profit) |
rocktheflash 19.03.2006 01:40 |
thank you!!!! but no download right now... are you seeding it? |
queenfanNY 19.03.2006 01:52 |
I uploaded the torrent to the tracker and opened the torrent with my bittorrent and created this thread with the torrent in it. However, it doesn't say anyone is uploading from me, I have no idea what's wrong. I've uploaded video on other sites before so, beats me why nothing is happening. *EDIT* I think the problem is fixed, seeding should begin in a minute. |

There are no seeders. Their is currently 75+ peers, so nobody will be able to finish without a seeder. Im at 79.8% right now and it's still downloading. EDIT- It stopped at 80%. We'll just have to wait until someone seeds. |

I have a 36" 4:3 HDTV, and when I watch the video, it's in 16:9 (black bars on the top and bottom of the picture), which is the same as any 16:9 DVD I watch. Are you saying you're seeing black bars on the top and bottom, as well as "side pillars"? Perhaps you have to change your TV and/or DVD player aspect ratio settings for this footage to display in 16:9. |

queenfanNY wrote:The side pillars description is an interesting one. I mean that as I'm watching on my 16:9 tv, the footage is letterboxed 4:3 instead of full 16:9 widescreen that fills my tv screen. It makes sense now because you said you have a 4:3 tv and I believe you used a dvd recorder to record the footage in dvd form. Yay/ney? But my tv and dvd player setup is not in question as I'm in the same line of video work. I'm currently selling dvd's to my theatre and I checked and triple-checked they were fine.Adam Baboolal wrote: Thanks for the vid. I'll keep seeding throughout the night. I don't post on here very often, although I've been around for a while now. I'd just like to repeat what everyone else on here, and on the original discussion thread has already said. QueenfanNY - you've made a lot of people extremely happy. Your obvious expertise, combined with sheer balls, has produced what seems to be the best quality audience recording we have ever seen. Not only that, you have shown your generosity and good nature by sharing the songs that everyone wants to see and hear, especially those of us outside the US who can't attend the current shows. No doubt you are being hounded by so many people for a full copy of your recording - this is understandable as we are true fans of this band. I, as have many others on here, recognise and appreciate your decision to protect your investment and your efforts from opportunists. I'd just like to say thank you for sharing what you have shared, and for taking the subject of audience recordings to a completely new level. Take care, MHAD |

Fantastic - thanks very much. The audio is superb with an external mic. Dragon Attack is fantastic performance-wise, and so good to see them do the whole song, complete with bass and drums breaks, and the "She's Low Down...." etc vocal break - hopefully a version from this tour this might see the light of day on an official release sometime |

Normally watching a single camera recording gets boring, as all that the shooter does is pan & azoom, and often something is missed as a result. This, however, is so well done (especailly Fat Bottomed Girls) that you could just as easily be watching an official release. Well, not quite, but it is extremely well done. Sounds good too, really deep & booming but with high levels of clarity. Once again, thanks for sharing this. I hope one day to see the whole thing, but only once you've recouped whatever you would wish to from this. |

As long as you have a DVD drive, it should then play automatically. If you haven't, you'll need to download "DVD player software" (google it) |

Take care, MHADThanks for the kind words, to you, and everyone else in this thread. I certainly understand everyone's desire to want to watch the remaining 108 minutes of the video. Again though, particularly with a video like this of such high quality, as soon as I would post the whole thing for free download, some people would put it on ebay and make a ton of money. The only thing I can think of to make it possible for you guys to have this video, but prevent ebay resellers, was that if it became an "official bootleg" available through Queen. I've read conflicting posts that the footage seen on the screens at the shows, is either actually recorded, or simply "fed" live to the screens with no actual recording taking place. If at the Worcester show, the pro-shot screen footage wasn't actually recorded, then perhaps Brian May would like to have my video (since he loved the Worcester show so much). If Queen were to put the full show up for purchase as an official bootleg, much like they already do with old audios, then it would be an "officially" available video, which cuts down a lot on ebay resellers. If anyone wants to e-mail Brian and give him a link to this thread, so that he can read the comments about the video, or for him to download the 15 minutes of video, that's fine with me. :) |
SweetLou 21.03.2006 18:01 |

"If anyone wants to e-mail Brian and give him a link to this thread, so that he can read the comments about the video, or for him to download the 15 minutes of video, that's fine with me. " Done. Here's what I sent. Brian, There is in existence a very high quality, high definition video of the show from Worcester, MA. Currently, 3 songs have been released on Queenzone.com. However, the owner is cautious of putting the whole video out for download for fear that someone would snag it, burn it to dvd, and sell it for profits on ebay. I must say I don’t blame him. This is something that all fans should be able to enjoy and no one else should profit from it other than the owner and perhaps Queen. There are so very many of us who, having seen the 3 videos made public, are hoping beyond hope to see the rest of the show. I’m not sure why he didn’t email you himself, but he mentioned in queenzone.com that if someone wanted to email you and request that perhaps this become an ‘official’ bootleg, then that would be fine with him. I think he desperately wants to share this magnificent bootleg and we would all love to see it. Perhaps you could consider it? Perhaps yourself and the owner could come to some arrangement? As I said, the owner doesn’t wish to profit from the video. Nor does he want someone to steal it and sell it on ebay. I think he just wants to share the wonderful show with as many fans as possible. Here is a link to the discussion as well as to where you can find the download to see for yourself the superior quality. Thank you for your time. link Keep Rockin!!! |
roxxanne61 21.03.2006 18:31 |

I got a response from Jen at brianmay.com. here it is: "Hi David Thanks for writing. I don't think Bit Torrent works with Macs. I've never had any luck - and Brian probably would fathom it either. How big is the file? Would it e-mail? Regards Jen FOR SOAPBOX" Now obviously at almost 1G the file can't really be emailed. Anyone else have any suggestions? Ugh... he wants someone else to do his tech support. Bittorrent works *fine* with Macs. I use Tomato Torrent myself, but it's trivially easy to operate and as long as he's got a gig free, he'll be laughing. Seeders too - he'll need those. But who here *wouldn't* seed for Brian May??? |
john bodega 22.03.2006 09:21 |
I haven't downloaded this yet (I'm on my Mac and I'm not sure how to view stuff like this unless I'm on my PC) but it means a lot that you've bothered to put up 3 songs anyway, right on. If I were picking songs, I also would've gone with Dragon Attack (because it's actually really good, PR really attacked the version I heard) and perhaps Love of My Life (just because I like the new renditions of it). Superb job. |
DEAN1 22.03.2006 11:22 |
About viewing the files on your mac, download VLC player, it will treat it as a DVD disc while it is on your computer. :o). link And yeah, bit torrent works great on macs. Bits On Wheels is my favourite app. - Dean |
DEAN1 22.03.2006 11:23 |
Oh and thank you for sharing those three songs, was fab! |

I think Brian will completely flip. Remember all the posts in his soapbox last year about people being more busy with their camera/phone than enjoying the show ? |

If you ask Jen for a postal address ASAP and forward it to me, I can send a copy as soon as the post office opens. I'm in Italy, the DVD should reach London or any major British city in 2 or 3 working days (I know because I often send stuff to a friend who lives there) Do not use the e-mail in my profile, it's just a spam trap; if the e-mail in YOUR profile is in use, I'm e-mailing you from my proper account now. Am I the only one who can't used 90% of the DVD's found here and in the Hub? First of, half of them can't be burned due to some conflict Nero can't really tell me what is. Most of the ones it can burn can't play on my DVD player (which is region free so that's not the problem) I just get a menu pic, but the darn thing chrashes when I push Play(EG Q+PR in Stockholm). If I put them on my computer they sometimes play but with no sound (such as the Q+PR in Japan). Others like Saturday Night Live works without a problem. Anyone know what the problem is? |

to gnomo: Excellent job! I really hope Brian does get to see this, but I saw in the footage that the show was also filmed by their own crew? (watch the camera at the front)... I am just wondering if they used more camera's at that show... Stefan |
willem-jan 8923 23.03.2006 08:54 |
How do you think they get the images on the big-screens? Old footage? I don't think so. |
TRS-Romania 23.03.2006 09:09 |
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so freaking blond! You are completely right! On the other hand, would those "video feeds" also be recorded at every show? I assume they do ... Stefan |
john bodega 23.03.2006 09:55 |
willem-jan wrote: How do you think they get the images on the big-screens? Old footage? I don't think so.Aha true - but it's all a matter of whether or not they recorded it. Then, it's a matter of *what* they recorded - was all camera footage from all angles kept, or do they just keep what's shown on the big screens? I'd think that if they kept anything, it'd just be the crude 'on-the-day' edit. But I thought I heard 'em say they weren't recording these things? Who knows. |

inu-liger 26.03.2006 10:17 |
Just downloaded the files! Fucking awesome quality in every aspect! And VERY nice choice of songs too! I personally hope that this show will see, at the very least, some sort of an official/online release. queenfanNY, I have a question for you: Again in regards to Blu-Ray/HD DVD, if and when the former comes out on time in May, with the recordable media launching somewhere before or around at that time, would you consider then putting out a Blu-Ray disc release in HD for those of us (myself included) that will likely invest in the players themselves? If you would be willing to do that for us, would I be then able to offer my services in helping burning and distributing copies AT cost? (Once I would get the burner(s) of course) |

QueenfanNY, I don't know if you are still following these threads but here goes anyway. First of all thanks for sharing your recording with the rest of us. I don't know if you are aware of the White Queen Records project being developed at the Queen Traders Forum. It is a "record label" intended to identify and release the best versions of any Queen and related bootlegs. Let me say right now that this project has no intentions to sell bootlegs, but to share them for FREE with any Queen fan that wants them. For sharing these bootlegs we will be using vines. A vine is much like a mail trade except you dont have to give something in return, just forward the discs to another fan. In short, the Vine seeder sends a bootleg to the first name on a list of people, that person makes a copy of the recording for himself and forwards the ORIGINAL to the next person on the list. This goes on until no one else signs up for the vine. I think that this could be an effective way for you to share your recording of Worcester with the Queen comunity because unlike torrents this is NOT an anonymous way of getting a bootleg, and you can keep track of those who get it. Also there are a number of people with DVD authiring skills that could give your recording a proper and professional presentation (menu's, chapters, artwork, etc) If you want to get in touch with us go to link and see for yourself what people are trying to do. cheers and hope to see you there. |

Thank you so much queenfanNY for this treat! Somehow I missed it over the past couple years but thanks also to inu-liger for sending it to me. Not having anything better to do today, I split it into rar files for Mediafire. So, on the odd chance anyone else missed it and doesn't want to deal with the torrent.. I put the files back as they were in the torrent, all in one folder including the md5 file. This is in case anyone who downloads it wishes to seed the torrent in the future, hopefully it will work. But remember, to make a proper DVD you'll need to move the md5 file somewhere else and put all the other files in a VIDEO_TS folder. 11 part rar: Part 1: link Part 2: link Part 3: link Part 4: link Part 5: link Part 6: link Part 7: link Part 8: link Part 9: link Part 10: link Part 11: link I don't think I have the strength to do Rapidshare. I need my connection for other things at the moment :) |
