I had a thought that maybe the reason why they are not playing new songs in the setlist is because of the travelling? The concerts are tightly packed together, within a few days of each other and the band spend the time in the middle travelling, rather than practicing additional songs...
no; this setlist ís the Queen+Paul Rodgers show, and this show is the one that they wanna play for the people in the States. They only change it a little bit because they want to keep themselves fresh. The 2006 US tour is just the third leg of the QPR-tour, so don't expect big changes in the next few concert.
Maybe they will do a different setlist if they'll ever come to Europe again..
"Body Language" is sort of over the top for Paul, don't you think?
I think that their show is an endurance test at just over 2 hours (especially for drums) and that the lighting, lyrics on the little monitor for Paul, etc., all have to be planned in advance. It's not like a low-tech concert. It's a big, pull-out-all-the-stops, Queen concert!

you don't like Q+PR version of Under Pressure?? i think for me it sounds most of what queen used to sound with freddie... if they would replace it with body language it would be a very bad move
Personally I could care less what hits they replace with album tracks. I wish they would vary it up a bit more than they are doing. I think Dragon Attack was an excellent addition and I am still waiting for White Man to get a go. It's too Paul-ish in nature for them to ignore.
