okay, Im going to the Portland show on April 11th. I was wondering how long the show will last, and if it will start around 8 pm (its supposed to start then at least). Do the shows usually start on time?
Also, do you think it would ruin the experience if I watched the Return of the champions concert tommorrow on PBS?
The PBS concert probably won't ruin the experience (I don't reccomend watching it, it is heavily edited.)
The concerts I have gone to usually started about 20 minutes after the time stated on ticket, and usually last about two hours 10 minutes.
I think watching it a couple of times is okay, but the spontanaiety will be shot. In other words, they haven't exactly been mixing it up enough to where the show is much different.
The positive of seeing ROTC first is breaking in a tolerance/love/hate for Paul and hearing how he does it.
The negative is that the show is more theatrical(apart from Freddie) than past tours so you would be spoiling several nostalgia events.
On second thought... Wait until after the show and then see ROTC. Dowload some audio tracks and you won't screw it up much, if at all.
