Does anyone know if they are having interviews in toronto or maybe on Much music? I can't believe i have hardly seen any press at all for them coming. It's very strange, but i m excited as shit though, too bad i didn't spring for really good tickets, i m up in the boonies! I m still kicking myself. Does anyone also know if it is going to be a full house? thanks if anyone can answer these questions. See ya at the show! Rock on!
Hey Hey- I just arrived in Toronto today--it's VERY windy and cold. I am hanging at an undisclosed hotel location downtown waiting for my tour buddy to arrive.
I can't WAIT until tommorrow--yes I was wondering the same thing and interviews. etc. Have a good time to all who are going---Look out Mr. Rodgers--the screamin babe is here--LOL
Welcome to everyone that has come to Toronto. There has been very little press regarding the concert. Q107 had a contest but you had to be a member to enter. Next to nothing in the paper. I heard the tour on Queenonline and Queenzone, and got e-mail about to tickets, thank god. I can hardly wait, won't sleep tonight.
i can't sleep either! Yeah, i looked on q107s website and saw nothing about interviews etc. Even on Brian's Back to the Light tour he did muchmusic. and he only played at the Danforth Music Hall then. Very small and dingy! I was in the balcony LAST ROW!! haha Take care and everybody who's going tonight HAVE FUN!!

*imagines all the CQ groupies scouring Toronto trying to find out where she is staying so they can stake out her hotel and get her to sign things and take pictures. ;)
Have fun CQ! Check your email for another Paul fix to tide you over until tomorrow night.
I don't know about sellout because i saw on ticketmaster some top rate seats available still. i still might trade my shitty seats for some scalper tickets. I just wouldn't know if they were ligit tickets! is anyone planning to buy off scalpers?
Since I live in TO, no big trip or sudden shock for me.
But still..less than 12 hours away.
Tick.
Tock.
Tick.
Tock.
Stomp.
Stomp.
Clap.
This is gonna rock.
I've seen Queen on every tour in Toronto since ADATR. I saw Brian at his Innuendo promotion tour at HMV, and on his solo tour at Danforth Music Hall. I'm not super fired up about tonight, but now that the day is here, I don't have tickets for tonight, and am torn about scalpers. What to do?
I advise to buy off a scalper or someone with an extra ticket.
Tickets have been going for much less than face value on Ebay. I saw 1 ticket - front row on the floor go for $40 canadian yesterday.
I sold my extra 17th row floor ticket for $100, no tax or service charges and I feel fortunate to have found someone.
Scalpers are going to have a hard time selling their tickets (IMHO).
I remember seeing a couple of people with extra tickets on Brianmay.com extra tickets page as well.
I strongly disagree with buying off TM - you'll get screwed with service charges that's probably unnecessary.
Oh, and I can't wait either.
I missed out on seeing Queen in '82, but I've seen Brian May 3 times (Montreal and Toronto) and in Hamilton opening for GnR.
I've met him twice as well.
To be honest, I'm not overly impressed with PR but he'll do, and I'm really jazzed about seeing Brian May and Roger Taylor and hearing Queen songs played live.
I was listening to Q107 today around noon...
Q107 is going to start a special Queen broadcast starting today at either 5 or 6 pm (can't remember...SORRY!).
I don't think that means live interviews or anything, just Queen songs and what not...but who knows??...they MIGHT get some interviews (it's happened before).
They said they will be broadcasting from the Hard Rock Cafe and fans are invited to go there for a special Queen preshow party.
I saw Brian May open for GnR in Hamilton as well...it was very cool.
I think Paul Rodgers is doing an AMAZING job with Queen...this is going to be a VERY cool show!
rock out!
