lol yea I did
after DC my throat was so fucking sore I couldnt speak at all the next day. Funny because when I went to the concert I thought that I would scream *less* than at the previous concerts because I was so close to the stage and wouldnt want to interrupt their singing, etc. lol I was completely wrong, I was yelling more and louder than ever before
erin was a bump on a log in atlanta
sat the whole show
went home and ate house fried rice and took the hubby to bed
meanwhile on the other side of the catwalk
paul ray melissa and allen were yelling and screaming and singing and being all around bad bad concert people *LOL*
and yes there were sore throats after the show...
ok i admit i might of had some house fried rice too...... fuck the blood sugar! *LOL*
I didn't have a soar throat right after the show ...but I had one all day yesterday and all day Sunday. It's only monrning now but I think it's gone for good.
I sang the whole show and didn't get a sore throat... thank God for those singing lessons! (from the diaphragm people! LOL!) But everytime I yawned the next day my throat muscles hurt a bit. I do remember that, since I was first row and was screaming so loud and jumping Paul caught a few glimpses of me and strted laughing. (this was at the Miami show... that crowd sucked)
This morning I woke up feeling a lot worse, it hurts everytime I talk and now I sound like Don Vito Corleone. I had some medicine and I made gargles with salt water, but it hasn't made me feel any better.
Does anyone else know what's good for a really bad sore throat?

Shhhyeah right! ;-) I think after Jacksonville my throat was more used to the screaming, so Atlanta did bother me as much! I have to wonder if I annoyed the people behind me with my..errr...enthusiasm..;-D
The fried rice WAS tasty, btw!

Remember that old bag behind me at Jax Erin? She said, "I don't guess you are going to sit down at all during the concert?" I said, "hell no, I'm freaking front row, end catwalk bitch, fuck off!!!" Well I was a little nicer but paaalease do not ask the people at the end of the catwalk to sit down. It ain't happenin toots.
Obviously Munch didn't get to go to the shows (sob sob) but I did have a sore throat after the AMAZING Elvis Costello concert I went to last year, in the Usher Hall. That RULED!

Advil.
I was hoarse right after the show, but the next morning the front of my neck hurt, like someone gave me a chop in the windpipe.
Warm Salt Water gargles
Ibuprofen 800mg with food 3x per day but only for 2 days tops
Rest-no smoking, no alcohol
Riccolas or Strepsils if you have them

I can't scream, seriously, but I did moan (don't be perverted), in October that is (Hollywood Bowl).
Well im going to the Buffalo show in like literally 3 days... AAHHH!!!
So i think im going to abstain from speaking etc on thursday to save all my energy for Friday...
I'll let ya know how that goes!
btw, today in spanish, the teacher is like "como estan ustedes?" and I said I felt sick. And she's like "in the throat?" and I said yes so she gave me a peppermint. lemme tell you, they work wonders on a sore throat.
