Is it true that Brian did not play '39 in Worchester? If so it's time to bombard the soapbox! :-)
Erin says she will die if they don't play it again...
39 was also not on the set list for the Jacksonville concert but it was played. Maybe if Brian feels like playing it, he does but maybe it's not a planned part of the show. Definitely let him know that you want it played. He does listen I think. People have been asking for IWIA and it seems like he's wanting it added.
39 should definitely NOT be taken out. It's an awesome part of the show where the crowd gets to sing along. Brian loves it too, it's his song after all. He's a moody turd though. You never know what he'll do.
I just got home from the show....GREAT SHOW! Even better than I thought it would be...Paul Rodgers really works well....but 39 was not played...the show was so good, I didn't notice it until after the show. I guess I was already resigned to the fact that they weren't going to be playing a lot of my favorites anyway, so I didn't notice 'till later. Great concert, though! If anyone is on the fence and aren't sure if you should go....IT'S WORTH THE MONEY ++ VERY GOOD SHOW!!
I just got back from Worcester, too. No '39. I noticed right away after he sang Love of My Life, he was handed the Red Special, but remained seated. I knew right then it was gonna be Hammer to Fall. Great night, wonderful show. What do I remember most of all? That Dragon Attack BLEW ME AWAY! Wow was it awesome. And loud!
dear brian
