Hey everybody.
Just wondering(ok, sometimes i have stupid ideas.but)!!!!Is there anyone that is willing to share( if they own!!) some Genesis bootlegs or knows a site like queenzone, in matters of sharing stuff?
I konw, this is a Queen stuff site, but it doesn't
harm to ask?
Thanx for hearing me out!!!
WITH!
That period between Nusery Cryme and Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is just spectacular.
But not to knock the Phil led band which is excellent. Especially the two they made when they still had Hackett.
The only Phil era album I don't really care for is Invisible Touch cause I think it's a bit too poppy.
Tell you what though, Genesis pop was much better than a lot of other pop music
Saint Gabriel era, the lamb Is a must have album, the sound the lyrics, a very good one, also Selling England and foxtrot, i think the collins era is to pop, Well not their first tWo albums with him
The Peter Gabriel era is much better than the Collins era. I got Trespass, Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England By The Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway... and I love them all! Don't think I like one album from Phil Collins, he's too "pop" for me..
We must see that Genesis moved to o pop scene cause thre was no muny!!!!
it's an easy way to make tons of money.
but,in my opinion, collins prog era is excellent!!!
I like them both equally. They're very different, kind of like two different bands. There's the Gabriel and early Collins prog-rock stuff, which is great, and then the good Collins pop-rockish. And I like the stuff with Ray Wilson (the third vocalist who was only one for one album), too.
