Queen - A Magic Show DVD. Name one thing you noticed or liked at this performance that hasn't been mentioned on this thread before. You can post as many times as you like as long as it is a new observation. And please be specific. All in all it should make the DVD even more fun to watch. If you have comments on what other Queenzoners post, that's ok, too. I'll start: At the beginning of A Kind of Magic Roger uses drumsticks with those soft, fuzzy, marshmallow-looking things when he plays on cymbals. |

Freddie's right hand looks like a blur as he pounds the piano at the beginning of Seven Seas of Rhye. |
carboengine 08.03.2006 15:57 |
John smiles a few times and sings and even hops up and down at the beginning of You're So Square (Baby I Don't Care). |

Can't remember exactly what happens but - When Freddie puts the policeman hat on and looks at Roger and Roger sort of puts his hands up and steps back.. he looks cute. |
carboengine 08.03.2006 16:01 |
In You're So Square John appears in a white t-shirt with a design on it. It looks like a picture of a woman's head, and she has a turban on plus a couple of hair rollers in the front, but I can't see who the photo is. |

Freddie stops the show at the beginning of Tutti Fruitti and walks over to get a drink and says, "I need my fucking water. I don't care." |
carboengine 08.03.2006 16:04 |
In the middle of Tutti Fruitti Freddie imitates a golf swing. |

In Hammer To Fall Brian appears in a long, white coat with shiny red lining, and it has a red motif on the back, but I can't tell what the design is. |
Sarquiss 08.03.2006 16:11 |
I remember at one point John has a shirt that looks like a clipping from a newspaper or a tabloid, I can see the word "Freddie" on it but I can never see what it says. anyone know? |
carboengine 08.03.2006 16:12 |
In We Will Rock You Freddie appears in a white military jacket with red trim, and it has the yards and yards of billowing white material floating out of the back of it as Freddie nonchalantly struts back and forth across the stage as though this is his normal everyday attire. It cracks me up every time, and I always think, "Hmm, this is what I could do with my old, white bedsheets." |
carboengine 08.03.2006 16:14 |
In Friends Will Be Friends, John spins in a full circle on one leg. |
PlanetMercury15 08.03.2006 16:15 |
That red lining on Brian's jacked at the Wembley is his Cancer sign (horoscope sign) |

It looks like the SUN newspaper logo, and the Headline starts with "Freddie..", but I don't know the rest either. |

Roger is so cute when he smiles at the beginning of Another One Bites The Dust. |

Yes, it's the headline of The Sun, it says Freddie Starr ate my hamster. I've found a quite good picture of that newspaper on the internet, if anyone's intrested than I think I can post it! Let me know. |

THis has probably been mentioned before but I cracked up at how on the Friday night concert when Roger first has the tambourine Freddie goes up to him and smacks him on the ass! :) |

I particularly like the quality of Freddie's voice at the end of the concert when he's singing the final chorus to We Are the Champions. He shows incredible power in his voice, evidence of opera training. |

well i can't really go with just one thing, so here's a few. - At the beginning of AOBTD, where Freddie gets caught off guard at the beginning of the song. He says "Hey, hey! You caught me out!" And Roger just smiles back. - At the end of Bo Rhap (I believe), he balances the mic stand on his hand. - Brian, at the beginning of Tutti Frutti, starts on the wrong key. After Freddie gets his water (and tosses it onto the crowd) he then says "Okay, give us the right key, for fuck's sake!" (Also, on the 1st night, Freddie almost forgets the words at the beginning) - John plays bass on one foot many times during the concert, and even spins on one foot during WWRY. But most of all, i liked the Freddie speech after AOBTD. "...so forget those rumors, we're gonna stay together until we fucking well die, I'm sure of it!" and the crowd went wild. |

- Frediie's fired hair in Crazy Little :-) - I love, I wanna pee when Freddie is walking around upstairs when he starts to sing Radio Ga Ga (first verse) - Friday: Freddie is in very different "cocky" moood compared to Saturday, like in 1979-82 shows. I love Friday version of AOBTD. And the others... :-) |

The person on the front of John's shirt is a old UK soap character called Hilda Ogden, who appeared in Coronation Street. She was played by Jean Alexander who is John's favourite actress, and who Brian's character was based on for the I Want To Break Free video |

I loved Roger's Roland Octapad. It created a unique and midi sound to enhance his acoustical set...Ciao!!! |

I like it when the camera looks into the crowd during radio gaga and you see every pair of hands in the audience with there hands in the air and it is the same in We will rock you. And in we are the champions every1 in the audience is swaying!!!!!!! Freddie always had the audience under his control during a concert. |
Munchsack 11.03.2006 03:37 |
I don't understand the "You caught me out" thing. I assume Freddie thought they were about to play a different song, but if so, why did he say "I feel a little boogie coming on, whaddaya think?" Anyone know what happened there? |
Dancer, Dancer 11.03.2006 13:34 |
like ive posted in an earlier topic. One of the giant helium baloons of the Queen members accidentally comes unhooked and floats into the sky. Took them a couple of weeks to get back apparently in someones garden hundereds of miles away. Brian waves 'goodbye' to it as it takes off. I think it was the john one... |
Sherwood Forest 11.03.2006 13:44 |
i noticed that a balloon went flying off, during its a kind of magic. also i noticed that john waited until friends will be friends to move- he did a huge spin where it didnt really even fit in with the beat of the song. it was pretty funny |
