Jere are a few pics, not great but I have them in higher res if anyone wants one. The concert was just incredible, I am glad I went after being a little disappointed after the Miami gig, not becuase of the guys but becuase of the Miami crowd which was pretty lame. htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link htp://link |

Very nice pictures, westpak. I wonder if they have the video screens in all the venues in the USA - and why is Brian's arm bandaged? |
onevsion 06.03.2006 06:53 |
Thanks a lot for the pictures and videos. Great shots! I hope they have video screens for all US shows...! |

Hey, thanks! Those pics aren't bad at all! And LOVE the movies! ;-) Yeah, I noticed Brian's wristband already on the Miami-pics... Looks like the same thing Roger was wearing in Cologne! Ha! Screens! Right on, Ducksoup ;-) |
The Stealer 06.03.2006 07:37 |
Westpak! thanks for the video and pictures. Having been to the UK gigs and NJ/NY...I noticed the stage is different there are platforms jetting up and out from the each side of stage! That's nice for those further up the rows |
Roger-Taylor.Net 06.03.2006 08:36 |
Thanks so much for all your work. It's really appreciated. Cannot wait to get home to see the video files as my office computer won't let me! |
Kilpat1 06.03.2006 09:08 |
i think brian wears the wrist band so he doesnt have the same problem he has last year at the end of the tour with his hands hurting |

Great stuff westpak.. But where's there lightshow? It seems to be less spectacular then the shows in Europe (especially compared to the Stadium gigs) *edit* After seeing the pics on Casper's site, I think the lightshow is just the same. |
Jjeroen 06.03.2006 10:18 |
There are some small differences, I believe... But that can always be, due to the shape or size of the venue... Stage is different though! Two mini-catwalks on both sides of the stage into the upper ring seats - and it seems from the pics that they now also use the big screen in the middle of the stage, right behind Roger, to show live-images of the band! |

Casper, Do you have some room on your site to upload my pics from the JAX concert? |
jeffuk49 06.03.2006 14:06 |
I still wanna know who and why that guy is next to Roger through out the concert |
Daz85 06.03.2006 14:07 |
That's Josh McCrea (sp?), his drum tech and former member of The Cross. |
Jjeroen 06.03.2006 14:29 |
No, it's not. It is indeed one of Rogers assistants (he hands him sticks, turns his microphone towards/away from his face etc.) but sorry Darren, that is NOT Josh McCrae! |
latina 06.03.2006 15:33 |
Whatever...that hurts. Queen and so few people...how the times are gone by. Those were the days... What has been the greatest Rockgroup on Earth ...remains a picture of misery. Maybe they'll play at my birthday party too. The audience will be similar...I'll ask'em for it. |
westpak 06.03.2006 15:45 |
To answer some of the questions: Yes they have a third screen behing Roger Yes they have had both screens at the ends at both Miami and Jax Yes there are two catwalks on both ends of the stage that go up a little into the first level above the floor Hope the rest of the concerts are like JAX you could see that the guys were so much more into it feeding off the crowd. |
RoHo 06.03.2006 15:56 |
thanks for the pics and the videos! they're very nice! |
Mcm 06.03.2006 16:30 |
Thanks for sharing these video's. Onequestion springs to mind - at the end of the WWRY solo, they seem to launch into something else loud (as opposed to WATC). What isgoing on there? Cheers. |
dorahc 06.03.2006 17:22 |
Westpack you took some remarkable photos last night! WOW. I was at the same concert and was told I couldn't bring my camera in, dangit! But that was ok. The show was really good even though it started a bit late. I half to admit I'm not much of a Paul Rodgers fan, but made a gallant effort to do Queen's songs. For me the best part of the concert was when they did the videos with Freddie and John. Man I miss those two for different reasons! I'm looking forward to seeing Queen again! And again those pictures are remarkable!! |
Daz85 06.03.2006 17:23 |
Mcm - it appears they now seperate WWRY and WATC with All Right Now in the middle. |
zone 06.03.2006 20:25 |
great pics i'm going to the toronto show |
zone 06.03.2006 21:24 |
L et's keep thin's in perspective here , you are talking about two guys from queen and paul rodgers, no new material and they haven't played north america in 24 years, and they still pulled in 8,000 peaple in miami. I think thats pretty good. |
CaAl.net 07.03.2006 04:08 |
Hadrian (and others; also of other days): Yes, I do have some more room for concert pictures. Please e-mail me at webmaster [at] caal [dot] net (you can also directly e-mail the photo's there; but keep the individual mail sizes below 5MB please) |

Hehe! No worries sir! |
MercuryArts 07.03.2006 20:27 |
So has there been no problem bringing in a camera to take pics during the show? Same as the two October shows? |
magnetikuz 07.03.2006 21:56 |
Pics from the catwalk's front.. link Yeah, cameras are allowed, they were just checking bags, so any small camera can get in. I don't know if its Queen's policy or the venue was just poorly organized... Inclusive I was able to get into Brian's change room after the concert!! And yes, it's true.. not even one poster in Jacksonville about Queen playing there. I hope they can choose better local promoters next time! a very very short video of Brighton solo link Yes, it was a worthwhile experience!! |
