Ok, I was the one who guessed Teo Torriate and IWBTLY before the Japan Tour (easy, I know). Time to guess the promised "new older songs" ! My two cents : Keep Yourself Alive Seven Seas Of Rhye Stone Cold Crazy Somebody To Love Maybe Under Pressure coming back on a more regular basis There is such a fine line between rational guesses and wishful thinking ! What do you think ? |
PieterMC 03.03.2006 10:33 |
At most I would imagine there would be 3 new Queen tracks. I think possible new additions could be: Under Pressure Dragon Attack Keep Yourself Alive Now I'm Here (Brian said they have looked at it but that it was not in the set yet) I think Bad Company, Rock & Roll Fantasy and Shooting Star could be in there too. |
Maz 03.03.2006 10:34 |
I highly doubt they do Somebody to Love. I just can't see Paul singing that. I agree with Pieter. Any changes to the set list are bound to include more Paul material. |
Erin 03.03.2006 10:34 |
If Stone Cold Crazy was added, I might shit my pants. |
PieterMC 03.03.2006 10:36 |

It's Late Sleeping on the Sidewalk Liar Keep Yourself Alive |
Pandy Legend 03.03.2006 10:51 |
I really can't see Paul doing Bicycle Race!! I think It's Late would be really good but not sure if it's well known enough (don't forget you have to pretty much stick to the hits when you're on tour, with the odd exception). Liar too would be good but won't be there for the same reason I think. Never know though. |
Lisser 03.03.2006 11:00 |
I bet Pieter's right nut that It's Late is in there!! There has been a TON of begging for it to Brian. |
zaiga 03.03.2006 11:05 |

I've been trying to think of 70s hits that would suit Paul, but apart from Now I'm Here (which they already admitted they won't do) I can't really think of such hits. Killer Queen, Seven Seas, Somebody to Love, I just can't imagine Paul singing them. |
zaiga 03.03.2006 11:07 |
For 80s and 90s songs: Breakthru Headlong |
Lisser 03.03.2006 11:12 |
What about If You Can't Beat Them? I wouldn't mind hearing it. |
hereyugo 03.03.2006 11:17 |
I know it's hard to imagine Paul singing Killer Queen, Seven Seas, Somebody to Love and Keep Yourself Alive but I have a feeling it's going to be in the set on this tour. Personally I would love to hear Modern Times Rock And Roll, Stone Cold Crazy and Innuendo. Don't forget you can see the setlist tonight, as it happens, here: link |
The Stealer 03.03.2006 11:31 |
My Guesses The new song Paul wrote for the band- that has a love theme :) Shooting Star Under Pressure Wishing Well Play the Game Fast We Will Rock You Silver Blue and Gold It's Late Likely Removals: I want to break free Hammer to Fall (sorry brian may nobody really knows that song here) A kind of Magic Show must go on Last Horizon--As much as I love this guitar solo or this song not both. And I love Brian just as much as anyone but Brian solo section really drags down the momentem of the show |
Asterik 03.03.2006 12:08 |
I think It's Late would be superb because it has that blues-metal riff that Rogers could catch onto. I was very surprised headlong wasn't included before because it's great hard rock- Fred sung it in a really throaty voice and there's no reason why paul can't do the same. Keep Yourself Alive would work well, as would soemthing like Staying power or Back Chat- I know that sounds bizarre but I think Paul could give them a really soulful, aggressive delivery. Might be a mistake though, given Hot Space's reputation. |

Will most likely include: Under Pressure Would love to see: It's Late, Spread Your Wings, Keep Yourself Alive, Who Wants to Live Forever, Innuendo, Somebody to Love, Play the Game, Killer Queen BUT, we are NOT going to hear Somebody to Love, as Queen knows that song doesn't sound good without a backing choir. Unlikely that we will hear Now I'm Here, as Roger has commented on several occasions that the required drumming is exhausting. |

I was always disappointed because I heard PR say he was looking forward to trying things like Innuendo, and they never did. For newer songs I'd say things like Headlong - and WHY WAS No One But You never performed? They have both the singers there?? For 70's stuff - I'd agree with those in here, maybe Now I'm Here, It's Late, obvious choices I suppose. Enjoy the shows. :D |
