well, i think it certainly helped...i'd like to think they would have been but...well, i'm going to go with maybe.
i think without bo rhap they would have found it harder to do well but probably would have still been big, you know? erm... their other songs were great to, so i don't think their career would be too drastically different they would have just not had the huge hit that bo rhap was. maybe they'd have written an even better song...maybe...
but then again if bo rhap didn't exist maybe they wouldn't have taken risks with some of their other songs.
hmm...intresting question.

Lets put it this way,if they didnt write Bo Rhap, waynes world would've been crap.lol,no reaaly they probably would've wrote something even more brilliant becuse after Bo Rhap they didnt need to prove themselves as much
Probably We Are The Champions would've been released first and Bohemian Rhapsody would be tied to We Will Rock You in some way...
:-P Imagine the end of some of Queen's concerts...
We Are The Champions
Sheer Heart Attack
We Will Rock You
Bohemian Rhapsody
God Save The Queen...
That'd suck.
Bo Rhap was a major attention-getter. So without Bo Rhap, it would have been easier to ignore (or have limited interest in) future material from Queen.
it was their defining moment
without it...they coulda been just like any other 70s band
either making a decent lib=ving in that era
or having a comeback now...
either way...it was THE song that broke them in every remaining major market
think of all the bands who have a "trademark song" then think of those that don't
the ones that do will always make a sound living
No, no, NO. Queen was heavily in debt because of how expensive Queen, Queen II, and SHA had been. If they don't make that song, A Night at the Opera is probably their last album as they spend years trying to pay off bills, and Queen becomes a footnote in history.
