Has anyone seen it? It's an awesome movie but it's like, freaky. Oh yeah, and what scene would you consider as the most...strange?
For me, the one where the man puts on the lady's hair and starts dancing around wrapped in a blanket to some song~ugh.
Oh and btw I always laugh at the way the killer drops the business cards and runs around the corner while the FBI agent is chasing him....
ok, strange topic but I saw the movie like 5 times in a row on AMC.
Hi.
Welcome to 1991. There's a rumour going round that Freddie Mercury has some kind of disease, possibly AIDS.
There's also a great album you might want to check out by a new band called Nirvana.
And keep an eye on the FA Cup this year. I tip Spurs...
Sometimes when I meet a woman, I sniff her and say, "You use Evyan skin cream. And sometimes you wear L'Air du Temps...but not today." It usually goes downhill after that.
To be honest I'm more into Extreme, Zeni.
Their last album, Pornograffitti, is pure quality. I just hope they can stick together and hold on to Gary Cherone. I think the worst thing he could ever do would be to leave his current band.
Don't worry childwhoevery1hates, I'm quite behind the times when it comes to movies as well.
It's strange that you mention it because the other night we almost rented Silence of the Lambs but after having trouble deciding between two movies, my family decided to go with Secret Window (When was that, two years ago? Either way, it is still a great movie). Maybe next time I'll watch it.
It's fun watching old movies for the first time. I love watching all these old Stephen King films from the 80's and 90's which everyone probably has already seen after I finish reading one of his books. So, don't get upset if people point out that the movie is overdated (even if it is in an unnecessary sarcastic manner...), cuz it's still great to you and that's all that matters. :-)
Besides, how else do movies survive throughout the years?

Sorry, but I don't see them sticking it out. Cherone's destined for a huge solo career, I think.
Now, Guns N Roses, they got staying power, not to mention productivity. Use Your Illusion 1 and 2 released at the same time, and I bet they release another 4-5 albums by 2000.

"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" is your favorite movie?
With all due respect, Milos Forman ruined a perfectly good book with that film; besides, the camerawork is sub-par and predictable, none of the acting is better than mediocre (ESPECIALLY Jack Nicholson's) and the plot is incoherent, as Forman leaves out important sections of the novel. Some reviewers give it 5/5. I tend to agree with those reviewers who have brains; 3/5.
Your opinion is not a fact.
Caspar, with all respect, and I hope I can say this to you as a friend (horribly cliché remark indeed). You should realise that not everybody sharing your opinion is immediatly a retard!
Yes an awful lot are foolish and stupid. But not everybody. There is such a thing as good taste, but you shouldn't be so "arrogant" that you think you can decide what's good taste or not. Yes I also think that I can decide what good taste is, but I also stand open for other ideas for good taste! For example if you tell me Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers are good I just assume they are, because I know you got a very well thaught of opinion. And you also got good taste. There are just a view people from who I assume these kinds of things, like you, jeroen and a view more.
What I try to say is, Caspar your not the only intellectual and your opinion isn't a fact and your taste isn't the entire world of good taste.
Perhaps we'd better have a (friendly! :P) discussion bout this on msn.
I haven't read the book so I am not able to say wether Forman ruined it or not. The camerawork isn't indeed interesting, but the cast is! How these people are introduced as pure idiots, and how you see them as "normal" near the end of the movie. Nurse Ranchett is a bitch, and although Nicolson isn'n the best actor I truly love it how he shows up in this role. Nicolson can only play himself, but I love it :P.
The film is in my opinion very good, and it moves me every time I see it.
Cheers,

Depends on the quality of the post, I find.
Still, you have a nice line in playground insults, so you'll fit in well here.
....I remember when CLARISE is in the killers house and is describing the latest victim and he says like a dumb ten year old:
"Hehe (duhhh) was she a big fat girl?"
