I think Percy asked for it to be left out of the video / dvd release as he was unhappy with the quality of his performance, similar to the Led Zep performance missing from the Live Aid dvd
I saw that concert in TV and I confirm that Innuendo was not inserted for some mic problem and so Robert Plant decided to edit it. It was a good performance, and the only time the famous solo guitar was played live by Brian May.
Many other song were not included in official video release... Who can remember wich ones?

Las Palabras de Amore wasn't on the MTV broadcast or the VHS release, but it is on the anniversary DVD. I think the Liz Taylor speech was cut from the VHS as well as the DVD. Can't think of the others offhand. Cutting the whole daytime portion from the DVD still is the worst to me.
I need to watch my video of the MTV broadcast again, but there were many flubs and out of tune singing and playing at the concert. But thats what gives it character. Being edited out of the official releases kind of kills that.
Yes, the defenative released version of the FMTC was the lazerdisc version. It looks as good as the official DVD release, and has way more material. If you dont have a LD player then i would recommend getting a dvd transfur of it because it is truly incredable.
The link from mercuryparadise works with me fine, but it downloads in 2 seconds and when i open the file to watch the vid, it restarts itself at 0:03 minutes :S.
Are you all so young? :)
Innuendo i guess is not at the DVD (even when all should be unedited) because Plant sang without reach some notes, everybody commented about this after the show. I recorded in my VHS but the transmission to Peru wasnt good. Las palabras de Amor (Amore is not spanish :) )wasnt nice, but More Than Words, linked perfectly with Love Of My Life was a terrible mistake to cut it off...it was a really great, great moment

Innuendo at the Tribute show is a real sad story. His voice sounds wrecked, but towards the end of the song he began to warm up (at one stage hitting a nice B while doing an 'oooooh').
Could've been a great performance I think.
He sounds terribly awful!!!Argh, my throat was hurting just to hear him:((
I could only stare at Brian who was not even looking at him, all the time staring to the floor or his guitar, with that performance him and Roger must have felt real pain, wow, I saw Robert Plant live once and he was not that bad, I assure you.
Aye, he sounded like a good singer who'd ingested fifty quarts of Draino and sandpapered his larynx for good effect.
A real, real shame.
Thing is, rough as it was, he *did* hit a couple of good notes.
He was too nervous because he couldn't memorise the lyrics to the song. He said that he tried everything for two weeks, but for some reason he just couldn't do it. When he got to the stage he was so nervous because he knew he couldn't do it.
But i think that CLTCL saved tha day!
Take care
"but for some reason he just couldn't do it."
That wouldn't be the 'drugs' reason would it?
Haha maybe I am completely wrong in even joking about it, but look at David Bowie; I'm pretty sure he can't remember lyrics anymore because of drugs.
Plant in his prime was a fantastic singer. Check the Led Zep's BBC Sessions, they are AMAZING. But he just kept being worse each year, to finally reach this.
