Why did he use that though? Did he have some artist friend design it for him and liked it? (Because I've never seen another drummer with a picture of themselves on their drum heh)

It's hard to see him behind that huge kit sometimes isn't it?
I always thought that was the picture of the giant monster robot thing from the NOTW sleeve. Or did he have that on the drums during the NOTW tour? Cos that could be what I'm thinking of.
The reason it exists in the first place in order to be redirected to 'drumkit' is because a lot of people refer to it as a drum-set. It is a set of drums, rather than a kit of drums, after all.
You'll no doubt have noticed that in the first 5 words of the Wikipedia entry it notes that a drumkit is also referred to as a drum-set.
To get back to the topic..
I always assumed a conversation had gone on at some point where Roger commented that it wasn't fair that no one got to see his face - and that was the solution!! Maybe.
Wasn't there a time in one of Roger's preQueen bands when he had to take over lead vocals and insisted that his drum-kit/set be near the front of the stage?
