The first series was the funniest ever but the third series is just taking the piss. The scottish guy in the first series was so funny though, I love it when, well I can't remember whats happening but he replies to something 'Well, if you were to ask me on a Monday I'd say ayeeees, if you were to ask me on a Tuesday I'd say ayeeees' and then he gets his little picolo flute thingy out.. What genius. Anyway the second and third series isn't very good (Is there anybody who actually found 'Bitty' funny? I thought it was pretty vile.) |

I hear ya Queen rocker,I watch that show whenever it comes on BBC america. Those two guys could give anyone who ever did Improv Sketch comedy lessons with their stuff. I can't remember their names or the kinds of characters they do,but my fave is that guy who tends to that other guy in the wheelchair who ridiculously fools him every time making him think he's handicapped. "Yeah I know." And for DR WHO fans, that's Tom Baker doing the narration in case ya don't know. Did they ever do a Queen homage sketch on their show before? Probably not,but I can just imagine if the duo did. |

Only joking. To me, Little Britain was sooo funny in the first series, it was so original but the second and third series just went too far and aren't even that funny, they're just repeating themselves and I'm really not surprised people don't like it. |

Little Britain is hilarious, but I agree the first season was funniest. The Mighty Boosh is cutting edge funny.....it's kinda hard to find in America. BBCAmerica continues to tease us with erratic scheduling of the show in late night hours. Noel Fielding is a riot and gorgeously retro Glam-Rock. You folks in the UK probably are well acquainted with Boosh. |

I saw it once on BBC America, but it never plays anymore, but I thought it was really funny, and the Young Ones, some funny stuff. |

Before Matt Lucas And David Williams created Little Britan they had a show called 'Rock Profile' where they pretended to be the rock stars and baysicly take the piss out of them. And in that show Queen were breifly Mentioned while they were taking the piss out of U2 it went along then lines of this; I= Interveiwer B= Bono T E= The Edge I= So the first time I really reconised you was at live Aid B= AAAAHHHHHHH yes live Aid we were great, in fact Bob Geldof personaly told me we where the best act that day. T E= Yeah well after Queen... B= (Brushing it off) Yeah well after Queen of course then Bob said we were the best there. T E= ( I cant remember what he said again but he rattled off loads of bands which were better then them on the day) The thing that was so funny was the accents they used They pretened that Bono couldnt speek Irish and was just putting it on for the American Audince XD The best Part Of That scetch was this; B= In fact a really dislike Bob Geldof, Because you know how I sang with Band Aid, You know How I Sang this Bit 'And tonight thank god its them insted of you' (Btw he sang it so much like bono i was in creases XD)That song was number 1 for weeks and I didnt Recive A penny... I= Yeah because that song was for charity helping all the starving children listen to the lyrics and its plain to see. T E= Yeah its for all of the Dieing Children On Etheopia... B= aaawwwwwwwwwwwww Thats awful (pauses for about 20 seconds and we think he is going to cry, and then he just breaks out and says:) 'In Fact We Still Havnt Been Paid For Live Aid' Matt Lucus And David Are Comic Mastars Even before Little Britan T H A N K S |

I recently bought several DVDs related to Queen and Freddie....sorry I can't recall which one ... but there was a short interview segment with various celebrities commenting on the band. Matt Lucas appears in it describing his obsession with Queen while growing up and his admiration of Freddie, particularly when as a youth, Lucas had not yet 'come out.' |
