I just got done watching the behind the scenes stuff of LAW, and I was curious as to what makes a band "the best live band in history"? I love Queen live, they were spectacular, but how do you measure live greatness?
Also, Freddie had an UNBELIEVEABLE voice and range. He seemed to never want to go into his higher range on stage. We all know he could, so why didn't he? Just curious.
I measure greatness by how the music and performance effects me. I've alway been in awe about their live shows and Freddies vocal abilities as well as his command of an audience.
Queen may not write music as complicated as Frank Zappa or lyrics like McCartney and Lennon but over all they had a great mix of evertything.
Especially vocals!
