Should be a name that has no reminiscent sound of their past, as in Royal Company, QPR, Qu33n'05, Seagull, Hitman, Free Smile, Eliberation etc. Should be something totally and surprisingly new. Fresh and solid. Erm, I can't think of one... |

Queen + Pail Rodgers, Brian and Rodger founded Queen, Freddie just changed the name from Smile to Queen. So they have all the rights to use it. But if they did pick a new name, I like the idea of Bad Smile, its interesting. |

Freddie_Jr. wrote: "Queen Minus Good Vocals"Paul generally sings better than Freddie did at most Queen concerts. He may not have Freddie's stage presence, but he has a bigger vocal range on stage, and is more vocally consistent overall. As for the band name, I'd say we call it Queen + Paul Rodgers. It is logical. It's the remaining members plus someone else, rather than including someone else. When Roger Waters left Pink Floyd, I don't think they even thought of calling it GilmourWrightMason. Imagine if Chicago had done something like that in the 80s with its five remaining members. This is ridiculous. A name is a name. What matters is the music. I can't believe how much time has been devoted to this overall useless discussion. |

"Paul generally sings better than Freddie did at most Queen concerts. He may not have Freddie's stage presence, but he has a bigger vocal range on stage, and is more vocally consistent overall." See when I say stuff like this, people jump down my throat, but it's absolutely true - on good nights when their vocals are in top nick, PR and Freddie Mercury *both* sound incredible. TYMD at Fancourt anyone? What about Somebody to Love at MK?? 2 examples of why they're both great singers (on their best nights) and why I'm right. Hahaha. |

"Losers in the end", ha, ha, it's very funny, i don't know a name but i know that it can't be Queen anymore, beacuose widought Freddie (he was the most inportant in group) and John offcourse, Queen is not exist anymore, Widout my dear Freddie Queen is not Queen, Queen died on day when Freddie died, and now, Queen and Freddie are gone, they're just in our minds and hearts!!! They're just Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers, he can't replay Freddie, and John is not with them.... so there isn't Queen anymore! I'm sad for this what I wrote, but that is true, and my opinion is that they shoud stop pretending that they're famous rock stars or something like that, beacouse they WAS rock stars... they aren't anymore!! i think that they shoud live their lives like they lived for last 15 years and stop ruining our memories!!! They was something, and now they are nothing, specialy widought my dear FREDDIE..… who agree with my?? Freddie, i'll love you always!!!!! |

Anyone who can't grasp the concepts of "an opinion is not fact" and "my opinion is just as valid as someone else's" is a waste of time when trying to have a meaningful discussion. That eliminates quite a few posters, doesn't it? |
