Hi does anyonehave a good version of The Call. The only version i heard was the version on the capital gold radio show. I really liked this song.
thanks in advance
...errr, I think you might just want to take that request down... You will be called names!
People in here tend not to be very keen on people requesting officially released stuff, and ESPECIALLY officially released stuff that has it's proceeds going to charity!
Just a little warning...
Yes - this was officially released and available on iTunes, and as such can not be shared in here.
But, if you feel brave enough, you can always ask over in Queenonline.
John, I thought that only Invincible hope was released through iTunes? That track can be found on the 46664 '1 Year On' EP, released January 4, 2005.
tracklisting:
1. Queen + Nelson Mandela - Invincible Hope
2. Whole Life - Paul McCartney/David A Stewart
3. People - Jimmy Cliff featuring Sting & Tony Rebel
4. Freedom's Coming - Da Universal Playaz
But I might have missed the release of The Call of course!

That's what I thought too.
I have 'Amandla' and 'Invincible hope (two versions)' which were released through iTunes/46664website, but '46664 the call' never was as far as I know. Hope to get it sometime however.

Hehehe, it happens all the time to me. I'm a musician/songwriter and I write songs together with a friend of mine. I (JeroenG) write the music and he (JeroenD) the lyrics. On some songs a friend of his plays bass and he's called JeroenG as well. And some time ago we met a guitar player who was called JeroenJ.
But OK ontopic.
Is there anybody out there who has the good quality studio version of 'The call'?
No studio version of The Call was ever officially released - not on a commercial record neither as a promo one - not even as a download!
By the way, there are two studio versions circulating from that song. One comes from a radio broadcast; the other ('mix 2') from a studio reference CD.
