I know that Queen is mostly known for Bohemian Rhapsody aka Bo-Rap, We will rock you, We are the Champions, and Another one bites the dust...but I know a lot of people on here knows WAY more songs then just those four that I mentioned...So, what do song do you think by Queen is most underrated that they did... Mines would have be "Now I'm here". I just love the guitar in the beginning...and I love how Freddie says: Dont worry baby, I'm still safe and sound...down in the dungeon just peaches n'me!(I think its soooo sexy!)I have it as my signature! Anyways...what song do you think by Queen is very underrated, but very good? |

Well there are five that don't get wider ecognition for me. Good Old Fashioned Loverboy is a deligthful showtune that did not get the commercial success it deserved, Las Parablas De Amor, a beautiful, UNDERSTATED Queen song that rescued Hot Space, The Hitman, a thunderous rocker off Innuendo that proved that they'd returned to the hard rock fold. Then there's You Take My breath Away, Mercury's stunning love ballad that rathe runfairly rests in the shadow of love of my Life and finally there is the criminally underrated Keep passing the Open Windows- certainly a Mercury classic in his inconsistent later years. |

Innuendo, the actual single!! Thats another song by them thats VERY underrated!! I heard that it sounds like Led Zepplin's Kashimer??? But yeah, I really like that song, and the video! |

God, there's soooooo many! Love of my life...and The Miracle didn't get enough attention at all! I'm so surprised that alot of their songs didn't make number 1 or atleast top 10! You could say, popular as they are, that elements of Queen has been under-rated! |
Bromo 20.02.2006 14:28 |
Mine would have to be It's Late. Sure it seems most Queen fans rate this song pretty highly, but the gneral public has no clue of it's existence. Why this song isn't played on classic rock stations 5 times a day is beyond me. Thomas |

I've always thought it would be Keep Yourself Alive. It's a great song and I can't understand how and why it did not chart!!!!! Come on, it's great! |
beautifulsoup 20.02.2006 23:19 |
If I can only choose one, than I must agree with Bromo. "It's Late." |
RETROLOVE 21.02.2006 00:50 |
Another song thats underrated...Spread your wings!! Very underrated song!! |
jcrawford79 21.02.2006 01:52 |
"Who Needs You"....without question. For some reason, Queen fans don't seem to like this song. I think its an awesome song and its the only example I know of John writing outside of his normal format. Definitely unorthodox for him. And not to mention some great guitar work. |

Don't Stop Me Now – okay, it charted and no-one dislikes it – but IMO it's more: it's one of the best pop/rock songs of all times. Breathtaking from the first to the last note, Queen at their best. I think it's best compared to Boomtown Rats' "I Don't Like Mondays". That had and still has much more airplay though it is far inferior to DSMN. |
great king rat 1138 21.02.2006 07:41 |
For me, the most underrated Quen songs would have to be Great King Rat (my personal favourite, and a great reply to anyone who says that Queen didn't know what 'heavy' meant) and Misfire (one of JD's absolute best and a really sparkling gem hidden in Sheer Heart Attack) |

i know that not many people would agree with me but my fave queen song apart from the obvious ones that everybody loves would have to be NOW IM HERE. I think that it is awesome!!! Best ever Underated songs would have to be: -Now Im Here -Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy -Les Palabres De Amor -Killer Queen -The Hitman -Innuendo Who agrees with me? |

Freddie_Jr. 21.02.2006 21:27 |
OH MY GOD WHERE DO I START!!! First off is probabyl 'Doing All Right' I know it was originally a Smile song, but the way Freddie sings it and the way the song is put together I think it deserves a hell of a lot more recognition, after that I'd say March of The Black Queen, it almost lives up to the standards of Bohemian Rhapsody. Then there is the prophets song, where Freddie's voice echoes and you begin to understand why the song is named so. Than there is... Liar The Night Comes down Teo Torriate White Queen Some Day One Day Tenement Funster (Roger Taylor's best song) Flick of the wrist Brighton Rock (amazing guitar work) Who needs you It's Late Leavin' Home ain't easy Stone Cold Crazy (That song is saweeet!) Son and Daughter Nevermore All Dead, All Dead (Brian's poor cat =[) Long Away '39 Dragon Attack Dead on Time (also great guitar work) In the lap of the gods (Not revisted) In fact Freddie were still alive and Queen played all of those songs for there set, I would have to orgasm. |

It's late - this song is... just something every person should have had the opportunity to listen to at least one time in their life. And I also think Seasside Rendezvous, because it's brilliant, and sounds very creative. |
deleted user 27.02.2006 20:27 |
The Prophets Song. Sheer Genious. Sad, that so many people would rather hear somebody say " Whachtya gonna do with all that junk inside that trunk?" because it's supposedly funny, then what sounds like five hundred shocking voices " But Still I Fear And Still I Dare Not, Laugh At The Madman." |
RETROLOVE 27.02.2006 20:32 |
Yeah Queen 2: "Bootie" songs are really BIG right now...if ya aint talking about the bootie, then your not talking about nothing...lol!!! But I have to admit that I do like the Black eyed peas!! Ahhhhh, it feels good to get that off my chest!! |
