Is there going to be any new releases from Queen this year? Hopefully if there is, it's not another Q + PR live show. Hopefully it would be one of the following: 1. Greatest Video Hits III 2. Queen Live At The Rainbow 1974 CD & DVD 3. Queen Live In Houston 1977 CD & DVD I'm sure none of these are actually going to come but one can hope. I'm still holding my breath for the Queen Anthology that's coming out in 2036!! |

No: I am sorry, but no one can confirm this for you. What I will say is, you do not need to be Miss Marple to work out that the 5th September 2006 will be Freddie's 60th Birthday Anniversary. If this special date does not call for a unique and exceptional release, nothing ever will. PS: You read it here first! |

Greg Brooks stated at convention last year that EMI intend to release the Queen boxset in 2009 (correct me if it was 2008) with a NEW Freddie Release before that. As John says above - September this year would be the obvious time (so expect it delayed!!!!!) Let's hope it's an unreleased 'cracking' song that get's to number one. Dear God, the music industry needs some decent music. |

Greg Brooks confirmed that they were cleaning the footage of Paris 1979, just after MK 1982 was released. |

Releasing stuff like Paris, Hammersmith or Houston would be the final step in making them the ultimae DVD band. |

Wrong. Earls Court is great. Er. In parts anyway. But I won't call a faulty mic a 'bad performance'. |

PS: You read it here first!Yes, i heard that they're gonna release a Freddie solo work, but what could it be? I mean, as far as i'm aware that could only be the missing tracks from his Boxset (Michael Jackson and Cliff Richards). Perhaps they re-release the Mr. Bad Guy with bonus tracks (as far as i know, this album is out of print for a long time- you can only buy it in the Mini-Box with Barcelona or with the Box-set wich is expensive!) And with Queen the rumour is that they have found three finished songs a couple years ago, and they were going to do a MIH kind of thing with them. About Live DVD's, Greg stated many times that in the future they would release a Live Box-Set. With the new technology arriving (like BlueRay) it's possible that they release more stuff with a single release. Take care |

Freddie solo project? What about: - Freddie with the Royal Ballet 1979 video - Freddie and Elton John 1982 video (Elton John's 40th birthday, they performed 3 songs together) - Some songs that were not on the Solo Box - and even more! I rather have a Live Box of Queen offcourse... |
