Hello, i just have finished to see the dvd return of the champions, and I had to say that no one can ever compares to the great and magic voice of Freddie, BUT i had to admit that Paul Rodgers is a good singer and singing songs of Queen dosnt make bad and he is not taking the place of Freddie, so i think that is doing his best effort.

Why have you wasted your cash on this garbage ?
Rodgers is a pub singer with a very very average voice he has been lead singer of a couple of very average bands he doesn't even deserve to be up on stage singing FREDDIE's songs.
FREDDIE WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO COULD GIVE CREDIT TO QUEEN SONGS.
PLEASE BRIAN AND ROGER BECOME SESSION MUSICIANS AND LEAVE FREDDIE'S QUEEN ALONE!!
We all know that Queen died in 1991 along with Freddie (RIP). But there is no reason to bash Roger, Brian, and Paul for trying to bring great Queen music back and perform it live for the younger Queen fans who never got a chance to see Freddie live on anything other than DVDs. I have seen Queen + Paul Rodgers once in concert and I am going again in March. Paul is definately no Freddie Mercury... but he is a good singer.

Younger people like BRIAN, ROGER AND PAUL RODGERS. Real Queen fans know that Queen died in 1991. You aren't getting Queen, you are getting Brian, Roger and Paul. It shouldn't be named Queen. Either retire Brian and Roger OR CHOOSE A DIFFERENT FUCKING NAME.
Freddie and Queen RIP

PAUL RODGERS IS THE BEST POSSIBLE LIVING SINGER FOR THIS BAND LEAVE HIM ALONE HE IS NOT FREDDIE AND HE NEVER WILL BE BUT HE IS A GOOD SINGER ACCEPT IT AND LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you heard of the above albums Brian and Roger have done solo stuff but it wasn’t the best choice. People have to realise Brian and Roger are Queen now. If you dont like PR thats ok that your choise and i will repect you choise as will a lot of other people on here just dont start doing what BPP does and crys every day about it
The Queen + Paul Rodgers tour is a GREAT way to keep the music of Queen alive, in the "live" sense.
After Freddie died in '91, Brian, Roger and John very rarely played any songs live, the exception being the tribute concert.
After doing a couple of songs together at the UK music hall of fame, Brian and Roger realised how much they miss touring under the name of Queen (the name being rightly equal to FM, BM, RT and JD), and saw that Paul would be a great candidate to sing with them. (Not replace Freddie! Sing with them. Hence the title Queen + PR.)
Brian and Roger are completely within their rights to use the queen name, as it's been said before, without any of the 4 original members, there would be no Queen.
Paul Rodgers has a certain type of voice, a very blues/rock style, but i thought that he delivered all of the Queen repertoire with power, great range, enthusiasm and charisma.
Agreed he doesnt strut around the stage like Freddie did, but hey, he's not trying to be Freddie is he?!!
Freddie would be proud to hear that his music and legacy is still being kept alive through Queen + PR.
And if we couldnt have this great music live, we would all have to listen to those great studio albums remembering what once was.
Thanks to Brian, Roger and Paul for showing the younger Queen fans what they missed out on seeing and hearing in a live show, and keeping the Queen music alive.
Thats all.
Matt
mattsmith you are so right but small minded people like BPP wouldn’t understand as he lives in the past and cant move on. We all miss Freddie and we all would love to have him back but we can’t so its time to get over it and move on.
Queen+Paul Rodgers is good but its not Queen as we used to know Queen.
