I have just seen the next collection of queen Greatest Video Hits, but i noticed that some song wasn´t there ( I was just wondering why such videos as "Innuendo and These Are The Days Of Our Lives" isn´t on the dvd? will there be realesed a greatest video hits III??)
Nothing is missing. The DVD covers the 80's only, whereas the VHS covered a bigger period.
One might say that things *are* missing (if you weren't happy with the features, for instance) but anyway.
True. Greatest Flix I & II went along with the Greatest Hits albums.
However, Greatest Video Hits 1 and 2 are different. GVH1 covers 1973-1980, and GVH2 covers 1982-1989.
GVH3, as discussed countless times (and I'm probably gonna get razzed on for bringing up again) will most likely cover 1991-now.
I say that because if it only goes to 1999, there's not much there to work with. With the new releases and such, there can be more features and videos on GVH3. Just wait and see, whenever the hell it comes out.

I hope they don't fill it up with all the Queen + stuff. Cos most of it I hated. It's obvious they knew they would only have a limited amout of material left for GVH3 otherwise they would have fitted it all on to the 2 DVDs.
Aye.
I *really* don't want Elton John on there, I don't want Wyclif Jean... I'd tolerate the George Michael bit.
I don't want to spend money on any of their turn-of-the-century collaborations (like the awful Robbie Williams version of WATC, or their ditty with 5ive)... basically, there's a lot of stuff they did in the past decade that they really shouldn't have.
I want the Innuendo videos (all 5 of 'em), I want "No One But You", and I want "I Was Born To Love You" (with the Queen version). Even though "Made in Heaven" was not a single, if I were Brian May I'd put together a version of the video using the Queen track anyway.
I'd like A Winter's Tale as well. Heaven for Everyone was ok too.
I *really* don't want to see any of that Made In Heaven 'films' dreck where they got awful filmmakers to make awful music videos for the songs... those were terrible.
Features? Why do I get the feeling that we're going to get slammed with a lot of *crap* about the WWRY musical, or even Q+PR? Maybe we'll get lucky and they won't do that (considering it's irrelevant for this DVD anyway) but you never know.
Basically, I hope the features are just interviews and behind-the-scenes footage - EVEN BETTER, audio outtakes and stuff from the last three albums.
Owing to the death of Freddie, I would happily pay money for a shorter tracklisting that only had good stuff, than waste money on a heavily laden DVD set that featured all kinds of awful collaborations with 'artists' that I hate.
not trying to sound like "you know who", but they should stop at 91, when all four had full input on what was being filmed.
But then who am I to judge what is good or not. Just release the bloody thing...
"not trying to sound like "you know who", but they should stop at 91, when all four had full input on what was being filmed."
I agree, personally, but it won't make sense for me to throw 30 bucks on a DVD that only has 5 songs.
To be realistic, I know they're going to include a shitload of post-Freddie stuff to pad the list, but I'm just hoping it's the more tolerable things that get included (hence - No One But You, I Was Born To Love You, etcetera).
I don't think GVHIII should put those Made in Heaven videos on it. They really weren't "Queen." It was a bunch of film students putting shit together. Don't know about you guys, but I really didn't like them. Didn't do justice to the songs. I'd rather see DoRo compilations for each one if I had the choice.
Hmmm. Yes.
I want Made in Heaven songs to be represented on GH3, but I *ABSOLUTELY* will not throw money on those *crap* student films that were released with some of the songs. To wit, if those guys want to encourage piracy they can go ahead and gimme crap student films, but I'm telling you I won't pay for it.
Fuck, at the very least they could afford to animate a Freddie for some of them... geeze! Just do it Gollum-style, that'd be good enough for me. Or what about that Volkswagen ad where they got Gene Kelly to breakdance? Seriously - just do something like that with Freddie and I'll buy GH3. Heck, I'll buy two of 'em.
hopefully the Doro videos for the Made In Heaven singles will be included as opposed to the Hot Property ones.
Unfortunately, I can't see what else they are going to include from the 1990's aside from the Innuendo/MIH single videos and No-One But You. So I'm guessing Seven Seas Of Rhye (TOTP) and We Are The Champions (TOTP)will be there as an extra.

The reason that's a stupid thing to say is that Brian and Roger made sure that that did not happen. They didn't want Freddie "digitally" brought back and for the rest to be playing along.
Hence, why they asked for the MIH videos to be original ideas.
Peace,
Adam.
