| mr4thofjuly 02.02.2006 09:33 |
I think the rap dross has driven you mad.A bunch of drugged out talentless scumbags in silly baggy clothes, making strange gestures with their hands, does not equate to music, or anything approaching music. If cool means lowering your standards to meet this utter shit, then i'm as uncool as it gets, and very proud of that fact. |

Rap is digusting and rubbish. It's not music it's noise with a beat. Anyone could do it, but why they would want to I don't know. People like Eminem and 50 Cent are bad examples and have no talent. Queen are real music and I'll listen to them for the rest of my days. |

YO YO YO!!!It's obviously a wind up but anyway... Cool people don't listen to heavy metal. Certainly in England. You listen to heavy metal in England people think you're some sort of manic depressive. And how do you know all these uncool bands names then? |
| IlariaTaylor 02.02.2006 12:07 |

| Ready_Coddie 02.02.2006 12:19 |
... that was sarcasm, darlings about how people these days usually think about the real legends. I hate the retarded hip-hop losers & what I wrote above was a portrayl of a common 'I am cool' shouting loser. Can't believe you all thought the Queen himself would be serious there... |

*sharpens her pitchfork and lights her torch* Can I just say buddy old pal, if you think Queen are "faggy baggy", then why the hell are you on the fan website? I must also add, no, 'cool' people do not listen to Queen, but awesome people do!!!!! Hence, we are all awesome, and you are a stupid git. Go back to your hood, dawg! |
| nibznik 03.02.2006 00:42 |
Actually some rap isnt bad at all contrary to what people think, and when you are speaking about a true rap artist, because there isnt as much focus on the live element, the artist puts more effort into the quality of music and the lyrics (although some of tupacs stuff isn't great beats wise, but the lyrics are wicked) Some good hip-hop/rap bands -De La Soul -Tribe called Quest feat. Q-Tip -Kanye West -Blackstar feat. Mos Def & Talib Kweli -Common Old School stuff as well (Run DMC, Beastie Boys) even some stuff done by Ice T and Body Count is good as well |
| NOTWMEDDLE 03.02.2006 02:09 |
Cottie if I ever see you I will hunt you down and slice your throat! Rap is crap and anyone who like C*ntney Sneers should be shot! |
| Queenfred 03.02.2006 02:41 |
I find it quite amazing and, moreover, totally fucking irritating that a lot of people on this board don't read the replies before they retort. This is how it goes: the OBVIOUS WIND UP is made -(insert anti- Queen statement here)- followed by the usual howls of '..NOOOO! Queen are the best...' yadda yadda, and then when the joker reveals that yes, indeed he/she was having a bit of a laugh, folk continue to hammer down this 'Queen naysayer', regardless of the fact that they've revealed themselves. Jesus people, read first- THEN respond, it ain't that hard. Oh, and is anyone else looking forward to the new TOOL album too? |
| chefman5150 03.02.2006 04:50 |
Well, kind of a shitty joke either way...I don't mind rap, but it's not something I jam in my truck all the time. BTW, yes I'm looking forward to the new Tool CD too, but that's kinda OT. Queen is one of the most frequently played in my truck, but I listen to other bands too...Led Zepp, STP, Sublime, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, etc. etc. |
