I know this has been done before several times including once by me before but I was bored so I thought I'd do another one. What songs do you think the greatest hits collections should be made up of? Personally I think they should take the best songs of Queen, not just singles or "hits". Here is the platinum collection as it should be - Best Of Queen:
Disc 1 (1973-1980)
Bohemian Rhapsody
The March Of The Black Queen
Killer Queen
Fat Bottomed Girls
Bicycle Race
Love Of My Life
Don't Stop Me Now
Save Me
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Somebody To Love
It's Late
Liar
The Hero
Dead On Time
Seven Seas Of Rhye
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions
Disc 2 (1981-1989)
Princes Of The Universe
Under Pressure
Radio Ga Ga
I Want It All
I Want To Break Free
Scandal
It's A Hard Life
Breakthru
Who Wants To Live Forever
Las Palabras De Amor
The Miracle
Keep Passing The Open Windows
Was It All Worth It
Hammer To Fall
Friends Will Be Friends
The Show Must Go On
One Vision
Disc 3 (1991 - 1995 & Miscellaneous)
Innuendo
Now I'm Here
Is This The World We Created
Too Much Love Will Kill You
Keep Yourself Alive
Let Me Live
Heaven For Everyone
Headlong
I'm Going Slightly Mad
Stone Cold Crazy
Let Me Entertain You
Jealousy
Play The Game
Another One Bites The Dust
No One But You (Only The Good Die Young)
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
A Kind Of Magic
something like that. maybe would change the order of the songs. what do you think?
Hm.. To the first disc (1973-80) I'd add:
The Millionaire Waltz
Tie Your Mother Down.
Jealousy
Spread Your Wings
Sheer Heart Attack
Brighton Rock- Come on!
In the Lap of the Gods..Revisited (or not revisited, both good)
I'd leave out:
It's Late
Dead on Time
I won't waste anymore forum space, I'll just stick w/ Disc 1...
it's not a greatest hits collection it's a best of. i agree that my fairy king should be on there. not sure about death on two legs - maybe as a bonus track

OH!!! A GREATEST HITS collection, well then I don't know. Let me know when the Best of thread starts.
What about a "Queen Collection"? Or that would probably be a third release then. I'm so very confused now.
We can compile our own greatest hits or best ofs or ultimate collections but I sincerely doubt if any two people will ever have the same 'perfect' compilation. I used to hate a few of the songs on GH1 (Play The Gmae, Somebody To Love, Flash, Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy) but now I don't because I developed a taste for them. Now the only one on there I don't like is Save Me. I still hate The Miracle (the song, not the album) and It's A Hard Life from GH2, so I would replace them in my perfect GH2. We will never please everybody.
true you can't please everybody. but the point was to create "your greatest hits or best of collection" so you don't have to please anybody but yourself
and microwave if you would have taken the time to read my original post then you would have seen that i called it a best of queen collection so maybe you should think before you post man
I do that sometimes. I'm a quick jumper. I've just seen this thread and wonder, why not just dig up the old one and go with that. Wasn't trying to yank ya. We need more fun here.
Everyones Greatest Hits will be different ... interesting to see what some people have as a "Greatest Hit" - thats why they are so personal to peoples musical tastes.
