Has anybody seen the above performed by the Cape Town City Ballet. Its a complete programme of Queen music played by a large orchestra with vocal soloists performing behind a full ballet company. Does anyone think this should be taken to a wider audience.
Yes, I saw it at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town. Currently it is showing at the Spier Theatre in Stellenbosch.
Are you from Cape Town by any chance? Haven't really seen many South Africans around here.
As for the performance -- I enjoyed it, though I had one or two complaints. The ballet was superb; the music was...good. Looking forward however to seeing WWRY (also at Artscape, June-ish).
Hallo Moet Et Chandon
Thank you for responding to my post I am afraid that I am in England and have not seen the show but wonder if it will come to the UK where we have a solid ballet company touring scene

I'm not sure if it will. I have a few contacts who are involved directly or indirectly with the production of the Queen at the Ballet, I might be able to find out for you. So unfortunately I can't say what the odds of it coming to UK are.
I take it you've read write-ups/reviews of the show?
