Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor of Queen have talked about continuing to work with their current touring partner, Paul Rodgers, but that's news to the singer himself. The former Bad Company and Free frontman told us that he expects the upcoming Q + PR tour of North America to mark the end of their collaboration:

let's not discount Australia either, and even if Roger has been into the studio by himself that's a good thing imho. i wonder if Charlie d'Atri can liberate Bob Rock or Rick Rubin from behind their sunglasses and find some fancy garage somewhere

I want to see em come to Ireland again!
Same here! Or even the UK again, as long as I finally get my chance to see them.
i would like to see them come around again, but if they finish(from Paul Rodgers' point of view)i cannot really blame him because he does have a fairly successful solo career and a devoted fanbase(inc myself in that),and i suppose he won't want to be remembered in the public eye as just the guy who did all right now and took freddie mercury's role in queen
i think everyone is looking at this quote all wrong.
and even if they dont, dont worry roger and brian will find someway to come back to tour if they really want to.
and that's what it really comes down to doesnt it- what Brian and Roger want to do.
They don't say there's no future for Queen + PR... the only thing they say is that there are no future plans (yet). Brian May made some comments in soapbox about this (link

You're right Jamie. Whether or not this collaboration ends after the US, well, I'll be happy as long as Roger or Brian keep on touring either way.
Why people want to read between the lines when there's nothing in there?
He just confirmed what we already know- was there any announcment about what happens after US tour? No, there wasn't any. He says "no plans, a lot of maybes". That's exactly what we knew before that sentence. Jesus fucking Christ... Seems like common sense on this board is becoming a rarity. And for all those snowfaleys and BBPs- I fucking hope thay're decide to record something, IF ONLY to piss thye shit out of those morons...
Hello:
As stated by The Mir@cle above, fortunately Brian has already spoken his mind about such matter, here is the link: link

Live and let live. Peace, love and good happiness stuff.
I think you will find they have already been writing together and the 'no plans but maybe' is basically business as usual, they will decide what to do after the tour, maybe they will go into a studio, maybe they will hold off for a few months and do other stuff, but like they have said all along, it will go on for as long as it has life and they want to do it.
It's been 'no plans' from the start but you can bet your mother that they will record together, whether it will ever get released remains to be seen!!!
I am pretty confident that there is some stuff down on tape as it were already!
As for losing fans.... you must be joking
