just a quick quesiton, does anyone know how many rows the catwalk goes back??
if its different for each show or something then does anyone know how far the catwalk goes back for the nassau colliseum (i dont think that each catwalk is different but just in case i asked)
It always depends on the venue. In Brixton there wasn't any, in Manchester it was HUGE, and I mean HUGE. Sheffield was avarage size, in Cardiff for instance was a tiny, TINY version... It all depends...
Fenderek is right.Nj catwalk was larger then LA.Alot depends on how each venue sections Floor seating.Fire codes in each area dictate alot of that as well. But the good thing is that it allows people to say my catwalk is bigger then your catwalk.
Yeah cardif's catwalk was really small i didnt know they had one untill the middle of the set, all it gave them was a little bit more stage, but it was minimal :p anyway i think that the catwalk is in sections and joined together when they have worked out length so depending on venue size the more catwalk they can have!
I've been watching the NJ concert, pausing it, and counting back the rows to see where I might be in Philadelphia. I also would love to know how they number the seats as well. On Bri's side would seat #1 be next to the catwalk or the furthest away from it?
To answer your question i was in seat # 1,on the right side of the catwalk and it was all the way over on the side.Seat 16 was the seat next to the catwalk.

Just to add my one cent, when I look at tickets for sale on ebay or from a broker(for Q+PR), one of the selling points they use(depending on seat #) is that, in a row, seat number 1 is the left most seat.
Thats just what I read... I went to a Melissa Etheridge concert once where, 20 minutes before show time, they switched sections! Everyone in section 2 had to trade spots with everyne in section 3, or whatever.
.
thanks. I guess it's 50-50 whether or not the $200 was worth it or not! well, of course i'll be happy just to be there, but...no harm wishing to be as close to the action as possible
In Arnhem it was huge too. We had a spot somewhere in the middle of the audience, and I didn't think that we would be close to the catwalk, but then Paul came on, and he walked towards us, and he just kept on walking and walking. Turned out we were pretty close to the catwalk after all!

Why don't you just call the venue and ask them about it?
They can probably tell you, because they will know which rows can't be sold due to the catwalk.

The catwalk actually started at Row Q and seat 7 was right in the centre of the catwalk (my seat!!!)
It might be the length of the front section. That is how it is at the MGM Grand. That makes it about 14 rows out.
I called to double check since there were 3 different floorplans online.
My new tickets are 5 rows from the end of the catwalk!
