OK, here's the second part of my 'old mixes' collection. There are a couple I haven't included, as they were more edits than mixes, and a couple I missed, because they wern't very good, but I think this just about covers it. File size is 57Mb. Tracks are:-
A Winter's Tale (Fickle Mix)
Breakthru (Fickle Mix)
Play The Game (Fickle Mix)
Sail Away Sweet Sister (Fickle Mix)
Love Of My Life (Fickle Mix)
Rock It (Fickle Mix) link
Please leave a comment, especially if hearing these for the first time.
thank you so much!!!
I looooove the I was born to love you fickle mix,
but what amazed me is that there is an instrumental version on it's on of the Queen version!
I have looked on the hub to find it (didnt find it), so Lord Fickle could you be so kind to upload the instrumental as well ? It would be really appriciated !
Stefan
oh, sorry I didnt know ... :(
ofcourse I have over 100+ Queen cd's , bought all the dvd's ofcourse, but i just love instrumentals of Queen .. Well I will have a look around then ...
If somebody could email it to me (i know it's official stuff , but well any Queen remix that is published on Queenzone is official in one way or the other I gues)...
Well let's hope somebody wants to help me out ...
Stefan
I don't know if this will help you at all... link
Try it...I know it doesn't have IWBTLY on it, but it has some other stuff on there, strictly dedicated to Made In Heaven material on there!!
Hi there, sorry to be the person asking this again! I have become a total fan of the Fickle mixes (my ipod says so!) so please could I request that some generous soul re-posts the vol.2 Fickle Archives. Many thanks either way especially to L.Fickle!
You see, this puts me in a difficult position. I'm not having a go at you in particular, but I have just had a look at the downloads of some of my other mixes, in relation to posted comments:-
Death On Two Legs - 65 downloads, 21 comments (not bad, I suppose)
Need Your Loving Tonight - 62 downloads, 8 comments (!)
These Are The Days Of Our Lives - 49 downloads, 8 comments
It will take half an hour to upload this folder, and takes about three to four hours to do each mix. How long does it take to leave a comment? I know I moan about this a lot, and there are a handful of regulars who do have the courtesy to post comments, to whom I am grateful, but this poor ratio of downloads to comments does make me wonder why I bother, if people can't even be arsed to say thanks.

You bother because you like making the mixes, yah? Are you really that bothered about -getting- comments?
Nice messages are great to get, I suppose.
Peace,
Adam.
I always try to be courteous to others, Adam, given the work that some people put into these mixes, and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same in return. I'm not asking for a bouquet of roses for every mix, but if someone gets something for nothing, and there is an opportunity to say thanks, I think it's impolite not to.
It's quite funny because myself and some friends were talking about something similar to this. I agree that it's a good thing when people say thanks. But I'm not someone who'd think worse of people who download and don't say anything. I think it's up to them, they either like it and comment/don't comment, or they don't like it and comment/don't comment. It's entirely up to them. I ain't gonna label anyone for what they do in these situations. Freedom, I say!
Peace,
Adam.
Your mixes gave me a lot of ideas... for instance on how to get through my difficulties in singing the whole 'the show must go on'... link
:-D
It's something done just for fun... let's say it's just a 'beta' version. Anyway any suggestions/critics are much appreciated.
Well, good recording. But my advice is to take the song in stages as you still have tuning problems. Also, your vocals at times are set too high in the mix.
Peace,
Adam.
