What is the worst song that you think a member of the band ever wrote or co-wrote. Having just listened to this again I would vote for Funny Old Life Ain't It from Talking of Love.... Sweet jesus it's painful.... I need to go.... Erin is slitting her wrists listening to it.... |

Get Down Make Love Body Language Brighton Rock I like those about as much as you like my name. |
Lester Burnham 19.01.2006 23:25 |
Worse than Body Language? |
PieterMC 19.01.2006 23:27 |
Yes this is worse than Body Language. It is a crime against music. Ahhhhhhhh..... Silly Christmas may come a close second..... What was Brian thinking??? Erin is wanting to destroy the CD.... Oh and QOW Brighton Rock fucking rocks. You are smoking crack.... |
Lester Burnham 19.01.2006 23:28 |
He would do anything for love, but he shouldn't have done that, I s'pose. |

A sample of the fine lyrics: Funny Old Life: Life's a bitch, my mum's a witch My hamster died last night My brother's got flu 'Says he got it from you Funny old life ain't it Silly Christmas: I like swapping things with my girl friend I asked her if she wanted to swap her dress once, and she said no, 'cos she never had any knickers on I'm getting fed up now, I think I wanna go to the toilet Oh, by the way, do you know Santa Claus's address? 'Cos when my brother sent a letter, my dad found it on the mat the next morning saying it never even got there Honestly - the postmen round here, they're really, really terrible So post it yourself, ay, or better still, why don't you take it, then give it to him My mum says that to my dad, why don't you give it to him? I think she's being dirty |

I just got Sheer Heart Attack and I have yet to sit through that. Yeah, I dont like it now but had you asked something similar 2 years ago, I would have said I didnt like Somebody To Love. Let me get used to it. |

Someone said Brighton Rock, Body Language and Get Down Make Love? I think Brighton Rock is a tip-top number...body language I hated at first but I grew to, er, tolerate it. Get Down Make Love, I've always disliked it, but there have been some live versions I've really warmed to. Even the MK '82 version leading into the guitar solo was nice. I like. As for a song I hate: Misfire!! Sure it's Deacy blah blah, but ye gods I just find the song so annoying, cheesy, lacking in any obvious musical merit and just boring. Stuff on AKOM...there's choice there for bad songs. |
scallyuk 20.01.2006 11:46 |
Pieter That was cruel. I've just gotten out of therapy from the last time I heard this. The album is errrrm an interesting diversion from Queen music, well from any kind of music really. A singer she ain't and as for her rappin' well .... if I'm being kind I'll say she needs some assistance. And if I'm not being kind I'll say burn the witch. Neil |

Brian's "I'm Scared." Absolutely can't listen to it. P.S. I, personally, like the black humor in "Don't Try Suicide," particularly the upbeat bluesy refrain. |

I'm sorry but I'm not too fond of the Prophet's Song. I always skip it, it's just too damn long. |

I'm not really a fan of Delilah even though I like the idea that its aboud Freddies Cats. The first time I heard it I never knew it was about cats, and the line "when you pee all over my chipendale couch" really confused me !.... (what sort of female company were they mixing with, went through my mind) |

"Funny Old Life Ain't It", no doubts. I feel shame that Brian was invloved in that project. Lester, Fenderek - if you wanna hear it, I can help you, but no hard feelings to me after hearing this masterpiece! |

Body Language isn't that bad - just a fun song. There are Queen songs that are much worse: Fight from The Inside (really terrible), Fun It, Good Company (uhhh), etc. ... |
Fenderek 24.01.2006 06:23 |
OMFG! How was THAT possible!!! just had a listen and... WHAT WAS HE THINKING???!!! Fucking hell, that's just... Yep, as Lester said- my head just exploded... Imagine something about 153 times worse tahn Body Language. Than imagine something 178 times worse than THAT. And it's still not there... |

Sorry, Tom :( You had to know the truth about Brian's non-Queen projects... So The Works is still crap album? ;) |

Nope... well.. relatively... well- compared to that it's a masterpiece :) |

FIGHT FROM THE INSIDE & GOOD COMPANY ARE 2 BEAUTIFUL SONGS!!!!!!!!! In my opinion the worst song is 'She Makes Me (Stormtrooper In Stilettos)...is too boring... |
goinback 25.01.2006 06:17 |
Love "She Makes Me"...every single note gets to me...just perfect. And "Get Down Make Love" is one of their best live songs! "Yeah" is their worst song. :) Or that "Delilah" thing...why in the world would they let people hear that(?). But "Man On The Prowl" is probably worse.... |
bohemianrhap84 26.01.2006 21:33 |
MUSTAPHA is the worst thing ever. I understand why people like it based on the music but the song is just terrible. Coming in a close second and third are Sweet Lady and You Don't Fool Me respectively |
Ih8FCM 26.01.2006 22:21 |
Delilah! |

There's plenty of songs I don't particularly care for...especially post "Jazz," but I absolutely can't stand "Sheer Heart Attack." Other than that I like almost everything from the first seven albums. |
Rik&Roll 09.02.2006 04:56 |
hmmm...Delilah. and I want to break free. not to forget radio gaga. O yeah, and the entire Hot Space-album. Another one bites the dust. Well...indeed the majority of the post-Jazz-songs. |
Dancer, Dancer 09.02.2006 09:04 |
i really find it hard to name the worst queen song. however, i often hear people saying that Scandal and Delilah are bad songs. Scandal is absolutely fantastic, with some great very 80's percussion, but even the lyrics, the words are so strong, i think of it as the precursor to Innuendo. Delilah is also brilliant, a cute charming little song that any body will find brilliant if you have pets that you love. |
