Is Queen Openin' their shows with an eminem song? if they are doing this... why? i read in somewhere that they used the Abbey Road album to open the shows in Mexico in 1980 is that true? Have A NiCE Day.. |

Because Eminem asked Brian to use samples from WWRY. So it's Brian's way of saying Thanks |
Jjeroen 20.01.2006 04:32 |
...even though the WWRY sample in the Eminem track is totally inaudiable! |

I would agree--it really fits in if you know the lyrics--Roger love him. |

That would be a bit cool! I would have never thought that EMIMEN would open up for Queen, but thats cool! I used to be a big fan back in 4th grade. |

I've come to respect Eminem when he came out with The Eminem Show. Good stuff. And 8 Mile is such a good movie! |

All I Hear Is Radio Gaga 28.01.2006 20:34 |
I think it was a great opener, if you listen to the lyrics, it makes more sense. |
Sherwood Forest 28.01.2006 20:48 |
lol at the NJ concert me and my friend thought they tricked us and it was really going to be an Eminem concert and we all screamed NOOO really loud. but i like the lose urself as the opening song, it makes me think about how brian and everyone must feel before coming on stage. gets me pumped in other words and its the first time i didnt mind listening to it, but its nice to see how the old, great artists are aware of todays less talented artists |

based on my musical experience i can make a coment of emminem's music ... and i must say that his none to sing with queen- even to sing near queen- he just suck! basing on his music and also on rap music a can say that rap doesnt have any musical composition they are just words with out any musical meaning nor any musical reall composition ... im a musician and and with all my experience with musical teory y can say this: emminem is a looser- i dont wanna insuld anybody (any emminem's fan) but i must say what must be said |

Actually the WWRY beat has nothing to do with "Lose Yourself". Eminem samples it in his song "Till I Collapse" off the "Eminem Show" album |
claudiox 06.02.2006 16:17 |
I could agrre with the words that fit in the opening of a show "losing yourself". But when it played it in Florence me and the audience disappointed the "surprise". |
Mr. Barcelona 07.02.2006 05:01 |
I thought it sucked, It has wannabe written all over it. I remember people looking at each other saying, What the fuck are they doing!...queen playes emineme?...give me a break, Talk about old geezers trying to pass as young. |

IMO it's the lyrics of Lose Yourself that impressed Brian, he even quoted from the lyrics in the soapbox two days before the tour started. Together with the lights it indeed is a superb opener. |

this is another example of brians taste going downhill, think spears, robbie williams, pink and now eminem. What's happened to you brian?....you used to be so good, since freddie died you've gone downhill so fast. |
mike hunt 08.02.2006 02:37 |
I think brian and roger are losing their minds, It's funny but people like "fenderek" talk about freddie love for 80's pop, these people never say shit about brian and rogers love for spears, robbie williams and pink. these teeny boppers are much worse than prince and michael jackson. |
Zak Royen 08.02.2006 03:13 |
mike hunt, i think you'll find that Roger probably doesn't have much liking for pink nor britney spears. |
Fenderek 08.02.2006 05:01 |
Mike hunt- you were gone for few months. First thing ahfter you come back you talk about "what fenderek says". Man, either the biggest fan or you just fell in love me... Especially as the last thing you were tal king about before you disappeared was... me again... Man, go and see someone, a shrink or something... |
mike hunt 09.02.2006 03:37 |
The only reason I call out fenderek is because we differ on issues, Do I need a shrink?...I think so, anyone who spends time on this site needs to be examined. Brian needs a shrink, My nephew grew out of eminem when he was 14, brian is a 55 year old man and loves him. Old rockers like elton and brian/roger need to retire, as soon as they start calling artist like robbie williams and eminem brilliant it's time to call it a day. |
