I think that it would be an awfully swell idea to have some sort of meet-up either before, or after the show in Cleveland. We are staying in downtown Cleveland, within walking distance of what was Gund Arena, and the Flats. Ideas? Suggestions? Insults? Let er rip!! |
groover 18.01.2006 21:35 |
The Flats are all but dead. A better option is the Warehouse District which is probably closer to your hotel downtown. |

stay at the downtown Crown Plaza Sheraton where Breakthru 2k5 was. Nice view, within walking distance if memory serves correct, and the staff are real nice |

I've never been to Cleveland, so I trust you guys that you find a decent place in walking dinstance to the venue! ;-) |
Haystacks Calhoun 19.01.2006 08:09 |
I haven't been to Cleveland since 1997... Flats dead, check. I have read online about the Warehouse district. Thanks for the info. I will be depending on the Clevelanders for the correct info. If memory serves me right, I think that the Crowne Plaza is where we are staying. |
Erin 19.01.2006 09:21 |
Well..we'll be there. Have no idea where to go or where to stay, but we'll be there! |
Hotspace2 19.01.2006 10:22 |
The Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland is in the Tower City Complex. They have a room on the lower level of the Hard Rock. Possibly if there were enough interest we could get that room. There are also other restaurants in that complex plus the food court. From the Tower City complex, there is a underground walkway directly to the Q Arena (formerly Gund Arena) where Queen and Paul Rodgers are performing. I agree that the flats are dead! Dave |

Hey, I'd love to be in on this. Hard Rock sounds like a GREAT idea. I'm from a town about an hour or so south of Cleveland. I've been a few time for BROWNS games (big fan of that lol) but am still not terribly familiar with the districts. Tower City is nice though, and would be a great place to get together. |
The Stealer 20.01.2006 13:59 |
We're staying at the raddison downtown-supposedly really close the arena. A meet up might be fun!! It's been a long time since I have seen Hotspace2!! |
Robin 21.01.2006 13:55 |
The Hard Rock at Tower City would be a great meeting place. Pretty easy to find and close to everything. |
Lisser 23.01.2006 11:52 |

SWEET.... For those staying, if you check out either Priceline.com, or Hotwire.com, you can get a room at the Crowne Plaza right on the lake for around $50.00. It Costs $15.00 to park, but once you are there, you can walk to the Warehouse district, the RR HOF, the Science Museum, and the Arena. See you kids there!!! Keep informed as to what time, etc... Who will be handing out the nametags? I'm the 6'6" skinny guy with the red hair.... |
Lisser 23.01.2006 14:19 |
I'll be the 5'4'' bitch with the long red finger nails, black hair, vampire suit, etc. Rock on. |

Just got my tix for this show, not great tix like NJ, but still worth it. Only bummer about this show is that it is in the middle of the freaking week, but I'm still up for a party at the Hotel if others are. |
The Stealer 21.02.2006 23:09 |
So the meet up is at the Hard Rock. What time?? We'll be driving in from Pitt and checking into the Radisson near the arena. Is the Hard rock near by? |
wstüssyb 22.02.2006 00:08 |

I will be going to the hard rock. I'm going to take my mom and dad to there first concert ever. They are both in their sixties, but they love Queen. I can't wait. RADIOGA |
Haystacks Calhoun 26.02.2006 10:47 |
That will be fun. I took my mom to see Paul McCartney last year, it was fun to watch her act like a 14 year old.... So, what time shall we meet at the Hard Rock, or should I just hold court right in the middle of the joint??? I plan on not getting too loaded until AFTER the show. |

Will you be at the Philly show the week before? Let me know. Thanks, Steve |

right, loaded AFTER the show |
Hotspace2 02.03.2006 14:22 |
I called the people at the Hard Rock Cafe, in order to officially reserve space there, for a pre-party, they want $$$ upfront. The best suggestion that they have for us who want to meet up there before the concert is to, when we arrive there, tell them that you wish to be seated in the lower level. The room will hold 75 people. That way a good majority of us will be in the same area. We plan on arriving at 5:00 and will let the staff know that many others hopefully will be following. Dave |

DaveSounds like a plan to me. Thank you for calling them for us. See you there around 5. My question is, are we "reserving" a space for Queenzoners, ie, when we walk in, tell them we are with the Queenzone party? That way, they kind of set up in the same area in the place??? I think that that would probably be best. Lets chat, and figure this out. |

Hard Rock sounds fun to me..:-) Let's take a headcount... Who's in? |
