ANNOUNCE - Dutch Queen Convention 2004 DVD
| Flush_Gurdun 18.01.2006 18:18 |
Hi, I was gonna share this as divx, but I couldn't get the audio/video in synch, so I've decided to share the original dvd. It was filmed on a handheld (rather well, clear enough from start to finish) at the Dutch Queen Convention, Vlaardingen, 16th October 2004. Jeff Scott Soto and his band, where joined by Valensia who was playing for the first time in many years. They performed a wide range of Queen hits, quite like the 2003 Queen Convention in Wales. Very enjoyable little concert, with excellent audio. I'm a big fan of Valensia's and it was nice to see him perform live. Track Listing ------------------- 01 Let Me Entertain You 02 Death On Two Legs 03 Keep Yourself Alive 04 Fat Bottomed Girls 05 One Vision 06 I Want It All 07 Save Me 08 Spread Your Wings 09 Don't Stop Me Now 10 Now I'm Here 11 Resurrection 12 A Kind Of Magic 13 Somebody To Love 14 The Millionaire Waltz 15 Mustapha 16 Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon 17 You Take My Breath Away 18 Love Of My Life 19 Under Pressure 20 Dragon Attack 21 I Want To Break Free 22 Crazy Little Thing Called Love 23 Another One Bites The Dust 24 Radio Ga Ga 25 We Will Rock You 26 We Are The Champions Other Info : Running Time : 1hr 42 File Size 2.63GB PAL Thanks go to the original recorder of this film (who I'm sorry but is unknown to me.) Thanks also go to YourValentine for encoding/producing this DVD. *********************************************** PLEASE, MORE IMPORTANT TO ME THAN "THANKS" IS THAT PEOPLE KEEP SEEDING THIS FILE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, NOT JUST UNTIL YOU REACH 100%. MY EGO CAN TAKE A LACK OF WRITTEN GRATITUDE, BUT I WOULD LOVE TO SHARE MORE, BUT IF SEEDS DROP TOO QUICKLY THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME I SHARE. ************************************************ |

Hi Flush Gurdun, thanks for sharing this DVD here. The parts from the left side near the stage was filmed by my husband and the parts from the right slighly farther away was filmed by Dutch Queen fan Maaike, I think she is not on Queenzone. It was a very enjoyable concert with probably the friendliest artists I ever saw. Mainly Valensia spent over an hour with his fans after the concert. The band was British cover band Queen Rocks. |

Valensia is great. Gaia is a fantastic song, as is Phantom Of The Opera (not the musical). I recommend anyone who hasn't listened to him to get hold of some of his albums... his queen tribute album is very well done, different to the identical covers versions you normally find. |
| Marcl 19.01.2006 11:46 |
Which songs did Valensia perform with Jeff at the show? M |
| Jjeroen 19.01.2006 12:29 |
Nice - I intend to join you in downloading this one within a couple of days ;-) But since we are on the topic of Dutch convention DVD's: anyone interested in my DVD of this years MayQueen-gig?? |
| Flush_Gurdun 19.01.2006 12:49 |
If I remember correctly, Valensia sang from Millionaire Waltz to Under Pressure. Jeroen - I would be interested in the mayqueen gig. *********************************************** I AM STARTING TO SEED AGAIN, MY SPEEDS MAY BE A LITTLE SLOWER THAN EARLIER AS I'M DOWNLOADING SOME OTHER FILES RIGHT NOW, BUT IT'LL PICK BACK UP AGAIN I'M SURE. *********************************************** |

I'm the one who filmed this concert. But I am pretty sure No One But You was on it to...? |

Headlong_84 wrote: I'm the one who filmed this concert. But I am pretty sure No One But You was on it to...?Hi, I've checked through the DVD Menu and the concert itself and it's definitely not there. Why don't you ask YourValentine, who put the dvd together. I'm guessing you are Maaike. YourValentine, as she has said in this thread has used two different sets of footage... maybe No One But You wasn't able to be edited for some reason. Thanks anyway for filming this. |
| Headlong_84 19.01.2006 13:49 |
You're welcome! |

Your cover is excellent Pim. |

Hello Maaike, your film is not on this DVD, I remembered this wrong, sorry - it's only my film. Your material is on a second DVD I made from your files which Tony shared on the hub. It's 61 minutes. If I get help from another PC I can share this from Monday if you agree. I did not even know you are on Queenzone:) |
| Marcl 20.01.2006 08:08 |
Can we have a seed for this - many thanks in advance. M |
| Flush_Gurdun 20.01.2006 08:37 |
Marcl wrote: Can we have a seed for this - many thanks in advance. MBe patient. Including myslef, there are now three seeders. I've been keeping an eye on my bt client which shows... There were 4 users who recieved the full file, all between 12.30 - 1.00pm UK time, but sadly 2 of them jumped off within half an hour of receiving the full dvd. I have kept their IP addresess, so as to block them in the future. (The old Sharing The Groove site used to let you name and shame IPs who failed to seed, but I wont be so nasty, as there is a chance they may return). |
| Marcl 20.01.2006 08:41 |
Many thanks All seems to be running smoothly. I've had trouble with my wireless connection today and it was difficult to tell if it was me or no seeds. I really wasn't wanting to seem impatient. Honest. M |

I did not even know you are on Queenzone:)Hi YV, what is the quality like on maaikes copy? I'd be interested in hearing the No One But You. Was it sung by JSS or Valensia, I'm guessing Jeff. Did you personally get talking to Valensia? |
| YourValentine 20.01.2006 12:28 |
Maaike's material is excellent. JS Soto sang NOBY, it was an encore and I had run out of battery. Maaike also has parts of Bohemian Rhapsody by JSS and Valensia. I always wanted to make 1 DVD from all the stuff but somehow never got to it and forgot. I did not speak to Valensia but I could have, he readily spoke to his fans after the concert. I think Pim had a longer conversation with him followed by a later correspondence. Jeroen, the German fans will love your Mayqueen DVD! |
| Headlong_84 20.01.2006 14:27 |
I filmed for an hour in total, that wasn't the total concert. Because I also wanted to enjoy the concert, and sing along etc... ;) I'll try to put No One But You on Rapidshare for you :D |
